Great Trip for the family - very professional while remaining fun and informative. KODI guides let the large group that traveled with us (total 7 rafts) have a good time playing "Pirates" while keeping the entire group safe.

Depending on the weather, pack light. No need for food or snacks (unless you REALLY need that sugar hit) as there is little time to get out snacks once the rapids begin. Suggest you wear a long sleeve all weather shirt and enough sunscreen on exposed skin to keep the BRIGHT Colorado sun off sensitive areas. There were some rock-lobsters getting off the rafts.

Minimize the cotton you wear as it weighs a ton when wet and does not dry too fast. Keep it to swim-wear and you'll be great. If you think the water is too cold, KODI will rent you outer wear, but in the middle of July, this was not a good investment.

The full day tour is fed an outstanding meal on the river prepared by all the guides (7 total) and kept entertained by their goofy but informative antics.

We used KODI for our first ever rafting trip on the upper Coloroado River. They are professional, safe, friendly and family-oriented. The guides are experienced, informative and very friendly. They truly want you to have fun on your trip. They pointed out many interesting things on our journey including a bald eagle on his nest with a baby bald eagle, a natural hot spring that we could stop and enjoy, etc. Justin (aka "Hightower") was our guide and he was very good as were the other two (Alex and Jay). They are also very competitive on pricing. We will use them again next time. Next time we will step it up a notch to class III at Brown's Canyon on the Arkansas River. We definitely recommend KODI for rafting in Colorado.

My family and I have rafted 3 years using KODI rafting. They have been professional, friendly, and very accommodating. I wouldn't make a Colorado trip without rafting Brown's Canyon.
