Fraser is a great little town located about 1 mile from downtown Winter Park and about 4 miles from the base of the Winter Park Ski Area. There is a free public shuttle that connects Fraser, downtown Winter Park and the Ski Area. The shuttle is very convenient and runs from 8 am until 9 pm. There is a variety of lodging in Fraser ranging from budget to deluxe private homes, something for everyone.
The Tubing Hill located in Fraser is a must for families and singles. It is a long hill with rope tow access that you race down on an innertube! The Safeway is also located in Fraser along with shops and restaurants (check out Rocky Mtn Roastery and the Crooked Creek Saloon), snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sleigh rides and much more.
Fraser is really a "subarb" of Winter Park with plenty to do!
