First look in the honeymoon suite was nice until I turned on the lights. The wall paper had tears in it, one of the stuffed chairs had a rip in it, the hot tub was missing a jet and all the light switch covers were yellowed and disgusting. Mulberry Inn needs to put themselves in our shoes. Marriage is supposed to be magical not disasterous and the memories we have of our honeymoon isn't what dreams are made of and if there were ever a time when you need a perfect room you should go anywhere else but Mulberry Inn. They SUCK!!!!!!

I actually would rate it about 3-1/2+. The thing I like best about this hotel is that it is easily accessible on and off of I-25. That is something that most (none?) of the other hotels in the area can claim (the rest are on frontage roads involving a potentially dangerous intersection).

The rooms are clean & average, some are even equipped with jetted tubs. (I recommend asking if these if available as they were not readily offered when making my reservations).

Unlike a previous reviewer I had no problems with AC, sheets, etc nor did I feel the rooms were in poor condition when I stayed there in August of 2003. I only had one problem with my stay dealing with housekeeping not cleaning the room one day (out of 5), but that was quickly remedied. I found that the staff was friendly and courteous at every turn.

Although I do wish The Mulberry Inn had an elevator so you didn't have to lug heavy luggage up to the second floor, all in all I intend to stay there again.

AC doesn't work, sheets fall off the mattress, manager not available to respond to complaints, rooms are in poor condition.
