“Best fresh hamburgers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

I've been going to Mountain cafe for years. One of my favorite orders is the Bacon Cheese Burger. You get a FRESH made burger nice and hot. The breakfast is really good too. I appreciate how the staff treats the customers like family. So friendly with everyone. When you leave out the door, you will know for sure that you're coming back for more.

“Best Breakfast in Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

When in Fort Collins, and you are looking for a great place to eat, try the Mountain Cafe. They are a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Just a couple blocks west of College Avenue. Nothing fancy, just great food, great service and you can joke with the owners and talk with locals. Met with a friend there last Saturday! I hadn't been there in some time, and had forgotten how comfortable you feel when you are there. They will know I sent you if you ask for the "Special Plates"! Sorry Maria....you asked for it! LOL Their Lunch is fabulous too!

“Great Local Cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

The Mountain Cafe is a favorite of ours for breakfast. Breakfast & lunch specials change daily. We've been going there for many years, and it is always fresh, hot and good! Mo, his wife Maria, and all the staff are friendly, welcoming, and take good care of us. We love the outside patio on warmer days.

“Good Food & Friendly Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

We have been going to the Mountain Cafe for over 10 years. It is a small cafe with simple decor which is exactly what we like. The food is always consistently good & served warm. If it's not warm when you eat it, you must be talking too much. The waitresses & Mo and his family are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome. For those who want a real "down home" style breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go. The prices are also very reasonable. We meet there with friends as often as possible and the staff always accomodates whatever size gathering we have. There has even been times when we arrived early before the cafe opened & Mo was kind enough to open the door early & let us in for breakfast. How many other places would do that?
Mo also takes time to come talk to us or at least poke his head out of the kitchen to say "Hi."
If you're looking for fancy food, atmosphere, & the "chain restaurant" experience - go somewhere else. We'll continue to go to the Mountain Cafe and support a small local business with staff that actually cares about you.

“Moe can cook!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Moe the owner/cook takes great pride in every dish he puts out! He has got his flattop organized so he can serve fresh, hot, meals, and all the sides are delicious! He serves breakfast & lunch, and all of his food is lovingly prepared, and displayed! His wife, Maria, helps make the lunch special, "Persian Platter!" It is delicious!! The long white rice, is so light, and fluffy, and the sause is so tangy....yum!! I meet an old college buddy there every saturday morning, and we have a different omelet evey time! They're always fresh, and great tasting!
His staff is "Top Notch" too! Jill especially, is so friendly, she keeps you smiling! They keep the resturant spic & span! It's so clean! You could eat off of the floor! Gladys is another treasure on the wait staff, she's been with Moe for such a long time, she knows all of the menu! And makes customers feel part of the family! This is a great place, with fresh food!! The staff is great, and the atmosphere is pleasent. It's a winner!!!!!
