I never expected to find such an amazing sushi restaurant so far from a seacoast. But Suehiro serves some of the best sushi I have ever had, in an atmosphere of understated Japanese elegance. The tables in one room are set close to the floor, and one takes off his shoes to sit there. But all is not as it seems, as there are spaces under the tables for one's legs, to avoid discomfort for Americans not used to sitting that way. The service is attentive, though can border on European during peak hours. The fatty tuna (also known as Toro) is delicious, and far more reasonably priced than most other sushi restaurants.
