“At Last Real English Fish and Chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We are English and lived here for almost 20 years and missed English Fish and Chips so much. Then we found JimmyC's in Fort Collins. Just a small place, but oh the Fish and Chips are superb, batter is amazing, crispy and not too greasy, fish is just like we got back home and chips are the read deal We also tried their Battered Bangers and they were amazing. This place is r4 hours drive from where we live, but you know, we're going to go there whenever we get that hankering for good old English food again and we know we won't be disappointed at all . They also sell English food, from candy, to biscuits, jams, teas, gravy granules etc. so treat all round. Thank you JimmyC for bringing us a taste of home again.!!!

“Great Fish and Chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Variety of fish, bangers and mash. Variety of beers, ice cold and refreshing. Huge amount of food. Very tasty. I have the fish of the day when I go, always a taste treat, fresh, hot and plenty of it.

“The second visit just like the first”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This was our second visit to Jimmyc's and it was the same as the first time in Oct 2011. We enjoyed the fish and chips then and again the second time. We went back again for another meal before we left Fort Collins and this time had bangers and mash and my wife had shepherds pie and both were very tasty and reminded us of the many times we were in the UK. Our waitress was a blond from Minnesota, I think called Georgia, and she was a lot of fun and made our visit even better.

“About as authentically English as it gets in the US”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Just back from the U.K. after tasting Fish & Chips at Anstrutchers voted best in the U.K. two years in a row. We didn't expect anything that amazing but were very impressed with our local Fish & Chips. We ordered two kinds of fish to go along with our fat (English) fries/chips and a side. So glad to see that mushy peas are available as they are so traditional in the U.K. I would come back just for them. We ordered a dinner garden salad on the side that my husband and I shared. It one of the better salads I've had in Fort Collins, a very generous serving of a nice variety of garden vegetables. We each had a pint of a draft beer and especially liked the Becks. Our waitress was very good and efficient. Prices are very fair. My only criticisms are: the two huge TV screens showing random sports--such a distraction while eating dinner--and the "Take Out" sign that to be genuinely English would have read, "Take Away".

“really basic”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

This place was recommended to me by someone who liked the beer selection. We went for the food and it was just fries and a fried version of whatever fish you choose. Not flavorful or interesting. I would not go back.
