“Great deal, Great room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2014

We were in the Denver area for a family wedding. My daughter found this place with their Costco membership. We booked the 2 king bed & bath suite. Loved the space. Quiet rooms. Easy to find. Lots to do in the area and close to Interstate. They were under remodeling but we had no problems.

Room Tip: The one in the back corner away from the roads.

The hotel is a jewel and close to shopping, attractions and food. The beds were comfy. We had a two bedroom suite with mountain views. SO worth it.. This a Jewel and I definitely will be back.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Customer service was outstanding. I especially was impressed with Camille Howard who made me feel like a valued guest and who seems to really enjoy her job. The Evening Social with complimentary wine and beer was a pleasant surprise. out room was newly remodeled and very comfortable. For $90 on New Year Eve to include a full kitchen a mini living room was impressive. The complementary breakfast was great to include omelets, bacon fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins. Everything to include the fitness center and business center was clean and the staff were all helpful.
Traveling seems less pleasant than 10 years ago with lower expectations. This was a breath of fresh air. I wished I could have stayed another day. Will stay here again

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are recently renovated and very nicely done with a full kitchen. I would ask for t...

A good place to stay for business or for a quick night somewhere. They do have a complimentary buffet, free internet and shuttle service to local businesses.
Not a good place to stay to enjoy your room or the hotel itself. There's nothing to enjoy without you taking the time to make it WORK for you.

1) No room service. This alone makes me feel like I'm an inconvenience to them by going down and 'bothering' them for food or coffee.
2) No room service. (I had to repeat that again.)
3) If you do want food, you have to go downstairs to get it from their 'counter' and the prices are expensive.
4) By the time they call you to say food or drink is ready for 'you' to come down and get it, it's lukewarm.
4) You can hear your neighbor's television. As well as people walking above you.
5) Room I was in had a filter sticking out of the vent.
6) Pool had some kind of weird powdery stuff floating around in it and I was itching for hours afterwards.
7) Lots of confused staff and disorganization when asking for simple things such as a wake up call or a drive to a business down the street.
8) Shower had low water pressure and took a while to heat up.
9) In room coffee maker was cheap, flimsy and I had to be pretty awake just to tear open the small packet of coffee to put it in there. Cheap stuff.
10) Bed was extremely hard. The blanket on the bed also had stains on it.
11) They like to say they have a 24 hour Starbucks there. It's not. It's starbucks coffee they serve from one of their front desk people. I asked for a pumpkin spice latte and they looked confused. I finally just asked for a coffee.

I'm not trying to sound too negative, but these amenities are important for people who are there for a long stay. I wouldn't rely on this hotel for those things.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Hotel is bit dated, but it's very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. 1 bedroom suite had kitchenette and was very specious. Solid breakfast, but by far the best part was the Evening Social, where you can get all you can drink wine, beer and appetizers.

Certainly I took advantage of it :-)

Very nice hotel. Rooms were like small apartments. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast that is included with the price is great with many options. Would highly recommend this place to others. Will stay here again when visiting Denver.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Had to travel to Denver for a workshop. Stayed two nights at Hyatt House. I was a little hesitant to book the hotel based on a couple of reviews I read but, after checking out several other properties in the area, the location and the price seemed right, so I went ahead and booked it. What a stroke of luck!

The property is located just around the corner from the intersection of I-25 and Arapahoe - very easy and convenient to find. My first impression was very positive - a very clean appearance outwardly, and the lobby and dining area was immaculate. Both of the front desk staff we very polite and welcoming, and I was given a complimentary upgrade without request!

Upon arriving at my room, I was very pleased with the accomodations. The room (all of it - kitchen, bedrooms and baths) was immaculate. Air and heat worked well. I requested, and received, a quiet location and had no problem with noise. Ate breakfast both days in the dining room and choices and quality were very good. I was advised of a social hour Sunday - Thursday nights (with adult beverages and light snacks), but was not able to make one. The property has a very clean inner courtyard area, with a pool and a very sizeable and appealing patio /pergola area. I used the fitness room one night, and found it to be very clean, cool and well-appointed (3-4) treadmills, along with elipticals.

All-in-all, it was a very pleasant stay in a very clean, comfortable, and safe hotel (and I am pickier than most about cleanliness). If you're thinking about staying here, especially with a family, don't hesitate, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

All of the above is my personal opinion, based on my observations. Your mileage may vary.
