“Really good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

It was close to where we stayed and the food was plentiful and very tasty, their specialty is fish tacos and they were delicious. The service was great and the food was on the table quickly, they had outdoor seating anf it was a warm day and we ate on the patio and watched the sun set.

“Best fish tacos at a modest price.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

I have been going here for years. They make the best fish tacos around and it is very inexpensive. Also like the fish enchiladas. This location also has a great patio with a view of the mountains.

“There is an overarching reason to go to Wahoo's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

OK, let's face it. You don't go to Wahoo's for the haute cuisine. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and made with fresh ingredients; however, as Mexican food goes, the food is good but not unique or memorable.

You also don't go for the ambiance. It's a busy place with friendly employees and a couple of TVs seemingly always running tapes of surfers. Tables and booths are practical with no frills. This is not a place for romance or quiet conversation.

In spite of these underwhelming compliments, my wife and I go to Wahoo's at least once per month. Why?

What you do go for are the margaritas. There are three (count em', three) shots of tequila per drink, and they also include Everclear and apple juice. The result is an amber, clear-looking drink that has you feeling jolly rather quickly. Be sure to bring a designated driver.

“For a restaurant that specializes in fish tacos, their tacos have NO FLAVOR!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

I love fish tacos, and was looking forward to going to Wahoo's the first time. If they base their whole existence on fish tacos, they must be amazing. No they are not. I was shocked by the lack of flavor. Sorry Wahoo's, your tacos don't pass.

“Great food, friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

The food is always good and the service laid back, but still efficient and friendly. Our youngest had to convince them he really did want real fish tacos with all of the extras (beans, salsa). His review is that the portions are good. I consistently find this place to be a positive experience and generally healthy.
