“Could be worse, could be better . . .”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

This hotel is very clean and definitely convenient to shopping and dining (Park Meadows Mall is on the other side of I_25 from the hotel), as well as other amenities. The negative aspect of my visit was the initial greeting I received by a member of the front desk staff. I wanted to check in early around 1:30 p.m. and was refused. The option was given to wait for 30-60 minutes and "maybe" a room would be available. Frankly, this was the first time in years I wasn't able to check in early at a hotel, and there was NO effort made by this attendant to contact housekeeping to determine if a room was available. It is understandable that a room may have not been available, but to show an attitude of indifference didn't exactly give me a great impression. The room, however, was spacious and clean and I had a quiet night, which pushes my rating up to "Average."

The bad taste of this hotel started with check-in with the receptionist who was less than helpful. We had originally reserved 2 Queen beds but we were given 1 King with a pull out. When we went to the room to make the pull out there was not linen to complete this task. When I called the front desk it rang for 5 minutes straight and then when I did get ahold of her requesting linen for the pull out bed it took her 30 minutes to bring it up. When she brought the linen I asked for 1 more towel as there were 4 of us staying in the room and only 3 towels. She seemed very inconvienced with this and then never brought us the towel. Fortunately or unfortunately my husband and I slept on the King which was incredibly too soft and very uncomfortable. Needless to say I would NEVER stay here again.

Having been a Platinum level Rewards member for several years, you appreciate the level of consistency and execution across the brands in the Marriott portfolio. That was not the case here. Although the room was clean, the execution, from check-in through check-out, was lacking. It could have been that it was the weekend and the hotel was short staffed, in any event, the experience was not as expected.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from the interstate are quieter.

Decent 3 star hotel in an outer suburb of Denver and (in spite of the address) in South Inverness rather than Englewood. Location excellent for business and within a few minutes' walk of the County Line Metro station and the Park Meadows Shopping Centre.

Original rack rate at $249 would have been expensive for this grade of hotel, but the corporate rate for the company visited offered excellent value.

The amateur photos on Tripadvisor accurately reflect the look of the rooms. They are pleasant, clean and functional, and some have balconies. Wifi is available all over the place.

The hotel is clearly very well managed with emphasis on good service, helpful receptionists, breakfast staff etc. Genuinely cheerful service seems to be a hallmark of Denver, from airport staff to shop assistants - must be the superb climate that keeps everyone in such a good mood!

Breakfast was a bit average (as a European, I find coffee weak throughout America, so can hardly blame this one hotel for a particularly watery example ..... all the other guests appeared to be American, so I guess they like it that way).

While the hotel is ideal for business, I was surprised to learn that they have a good deal of weekend break and wedding traffic, as the location in a business area by the motorway would hardly be conducive to romance, especially with beautiful mountain resorts so close........must be the service!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front face away from the motorway, so are quieter (although you can still hear the traf...

Stayed here about two weeks ago as our school group traveled through Denver (used six rooms). Desk staff was extremely professional, one of the best crews I have seen in a while. Lobby and eating area was nicely updated and decorated. No free breakfast at this Courtyard so we went out each morning (restaurant was closed over the weekend.) Rooms were clean, nice and new looking. Water pressure better than most. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Even all of them were friendly to us! Good job to whoever does staff training! We did hear the people walking around in the room above us as we settled down to sleep (that has been mentioned in other reviews before this one). Otherwise we had a great visit and will plan to stay here again.

Room Tip: Get an upper floor so you don't hear waking in the room above yours and stay on the side away fr...

I recently stayed in this Courtyard for a business trip. It seems to cater to mainly a business crowd, since it is located in the Denver Tech Center/Meridian area. My room was clean, updated, and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend requesting a room away from the freeway. I had to wear earplugs to drown out the freeway noise. The staff was very welcoming and professional. I would definitely stay here again for a business trip, but not for a personal trip, due to the lack of a "free" breakfast. There are two levels of the breakfast buffet, one offering cold items only (pastries, yogurt, fruit, etc.) and one upgrading to hot items. The breakfast was a bit pricey in my opinion, but there was a good variety of breakfast items and everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the free Otis Spunkmyer cookies in the evening. Definitely check out the Park Meadows Mall, which is only 5 minutes away. It's a gorgeous newer mall with many dining choices in and around the mall.

I have spent the past 2 weeks at this hotel. No actual complaints with the hotel itself, however it is right next to the I-25 and road noise does intrude into the room. The road noise becomes very noticeable during early morning peak hours and again in the afternoon peak hour.

Nice view of the Rocky Mountains from my room but again you have to look over the I-25 to see the mountains.

The room itself is clean and comfortable, the bed is pretty average and I find it a bit on the hard side. I have a King bed room complete with a 2 seater lounge, study desk, chest of draws, bedside tables and a Panasonic flat screen LCD TV which looks to be about a 37" set. The quality of the furnishing is good. There is a small alcove housing a sink and wardrobe and there is a drip filter coffee machine located on a shelf above the sink. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and the toilet.

I found the shower water pressure to be okay but not what I would class as strong, however not once did I have the hotwater fluctuate through other guests using their showers during peak times.

Good access to the Park Meadows Mall by either using the Hotel shuttle or your own car or by using the freeway footbridge overpass which brings you to the mall car park and to the light rail station which provides access into the Denver downtown area.

The hotel has a breakfast buffet which is currently costing $11.95 for adults and I have used it most days. The quality of the food I have found to be very good as is the wait staff service.

Overall it has been a reasonably pleasant stay, the only issues have been the road noise and because the floors are not solid I did experience quite loud footsteps occasionally from the room above mine.

The hotel offers a 24 hour Gym which is only small but has a good array of machines and a wall mounted TV. There are also a small indoor pool and a separate spa in the same room as the pool.

There is a guest laundry with one washing machine and one dryer, it cost a $1 for a wash cycle and it will cost $2 for two dry cycles as the washer is a bit on the old and tired side, it doesn't do a good job with the spin cycle hence you need to do a couple of cycles in the dryer.
