Hyatt Place DTC is in a secluded and quiet area next to corporate buildings. The hotel is far enough off I-25 to ensure solitude.
The property appears to be new, and is quite clean and projects an image of professional hospitality. It is a hotel that is advertised as a business property, and is just that.
The rooms are small compared to Embassy Suites, but laid out better than Springhill Suites. Arrived too late to partake in activities or peruse the overall hotel, but very impressed with the bed and bath.
Only complaint for this hotel is a manual thermostat on the non-central air conditioning, resulting in a bit of trial-and-error.
* cleanliness above average (felt quite new)
* beds above average (nice pillows)
* staff (not enough interaction)
* Internet average
* air conditioning average (works well)
* price below average (great value for the overall quality)
* location average (too far South to make easy trip downtown)
