We stayed at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera for a special weekend getaway. The ride up to the Lodge is amazing. It makes one wonder what the owners of the mega-million dollar homes due for a living in this exclusive, gated community. The views from our room were absolutely spectacular. The grounds are also very impressive. We had drinks at Mirador and enjoyed the conversation with Andrew our server. Dinner was at Grouse on the Green where we enjoyed the Thursday fish taco and margarita special. Keep in mind that you don’t have a lot of choices for food and drink. It is either high-end or golf course bar food. This hotel is ISOLATED! This is a great thing if you are looking for peace and solitude. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not the place.
