“Good hotel near Eagle airport Colorado”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

I stayed here 1 night in July 2013. It is about 6 or 7 miles from Eagle CO. airport. The rooms were quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. A City Market grocery store is right next to this hotel. So meals can be obtained there. Breakfast is served in the hotel in the mornings 6 to 10 am. HBO and cable channels are available to you on the TVs. It was nicer than I expected. I would definitely would stay there again.

Room Tip: Close to elevator are handy and quiet.

OK it's not the Ritz Carlton but was much nicer than expected, rooms and baths clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great and never ran low on food. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Only negative was small swimming pool and the overhead and loud hum from the HVAC (or lights?) made the pool area almost unbearable to use. Other than that, nice location and even though near I-70, traffic noise was not noticeable. We will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Best view is on south side of building... but that's also the I-70 side. I couldn't hear any...

We broke down in Gypsum and had nowhere to go. Called Comfort Inn and the lady who answered was so sweet and understanding! She booked us a room for however many nights we would need for car to be fixed...and gave us a "stranded motorist discount", about $20 below the usual rate! The room was very clean and comfy...fridge and microwave included. Beds were perfect, and plenty of pillows, etc. The pool wasn't huge but it was perfect temp and clean. Hot tub was hot and good size. Breakfast was great...good spread! We would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Rooms above the pool may be noisy!

Our stay at the Comfort Inn, Vail Valley was a excellent choice. The room was clean and well appointed and reasonably priced. But what made the stay and hotel worth recommending was the staff. The person that checked us was pleasant and accommodated our few requests with cheerful efficiency. Ad a great nights rest was had by all.....

This hotel is in a convenient location, and also has a lot of parking available. The room we had was in good shape and clean. I thought the room was a good size, felt larger than other rooms we've had. Pretty basic, nothing fancy, but good for the price. Beds a bit on the soft side, room had a flat screen tv, carpets & bathroom were clean, ac/heat worked good. The hotel itself was pretty large, it had an outdoor pool and hot tub, and was pet friendly w/deposit. Seemed the hotel was full when we were there, lots of people around, breakfast area was crowded. This hotel seems to get a lot of use by the way the walkways looked. The doors opening/closing are quite loud in the hallways, were woken up at 5am by our neighbors' door closing repeatedly. Lobby was in a separate building from the hotel, and the hotel had easy access from the parking lot with multiple entrances. Has elevator and stairs. Continental breakfast was the usual - breads, cereals, coffee/juice, condiments. Overall good & clean for the price, would stay there again.

My family stayed here for a ski and tubing vacation this January. We were able to be at Vail or Beaver Creek resorts within 20 minutes. Suite was spacious, clean and recently renovated. Breakfast was very convenient, hot and fresh. Service was excellent. Pool and hot tub area clean and safe. I have been through the area many times for business and pleasure and this hotel is by far the best value for the quality. Great location, nice local restaurants very accessible. Internet is very fast and reliable for me when I am on one of my working trips. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any business or family travellers!

Room Tip: The jetted tub double room suites are awesome!

It looked fairly new, was kept spotlessly clean, the breakfast was a bit better than most and was the room was moderately priced. The pool and hot tub were nice and they only use basic chemicals, not the cheaper ones that can leave your skin itching. It’s located just north-east of the highway exit for Eagle, Colorado, 21 miles from the Beaver Creek ski resort with Vail about 10 miles beyond that. There are a number of dining options in the area with a grocery store right next door to the hotel. We were one of the few guests staying there and we were on the back side of the hotel away from the highway so we didn’t have any problems with noise. Outside our window we saw a heard of about 30 deer one afternoon and the next day several wild turkeys. We used the coin laundry to do some of our ski clothes and went out to diner each night at some of the nearby places. We stayed here three nights and found it more than adequate for our needs. Nothing special but neat and clean and reasonably priced for a place just down the road from Vail.

Room Tip: When we stayed here there were few other guests and we staryed in a room on the side of the hotel aw...
