Based on other reviews. I thought the place was over rated, considering the price. As we saw a lot of places on the main street at heavily discounted prices. The room was small. We were lucky to be on the first floor. As I did not see an elevator. Room access was from outside, no lobby . Room seemed dated. The place was clean, bathroom fixtures were all in working order, I didn't notice too much noise. The guy that checked us in the evening before, also handled breakfast the next day. Very courteous with serving coffee and keeping breakfast stocked.
Considering how touristy Durango can be in the summer months. It is probably a much better deal then.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for failing to exceed your expectations. Although we are not located in the center of downtown, We are only 1 mile north, and our prices are much lower than those located in the historic district. We are also putting in all new furniture and carpet in November, and hope this will give our future guests more value for their money spent.
Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements to ensure we offer an exceptional experience for our guests in the future.
I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a better experience.

Sincerely,
Brooke Henderson & The Quality Inn Durango Team

We stayed at the Durango Quality Inn and it was a terrific stay. After a small reservation issue that they quickly fixed we had a very nice stay. The room was very clean and breakfast was very good and it was hot. It was a very good price. Easy to get to.

Clean room, decent breakfast, friendly staff, but thin walls (can hear traffic all too well when staying in any of the rooms in the first building close to the street). If choosing this motel for the location, be sure to try to get a room in the other buildings near the back, behind the first building; maybe the rooms there are quieter, as long as you don't have a noisy neighbor. Overall, our one night stay was okay as we were simply moving on further North to find autumn colors.

We stayed at the Quality Inn Durango for one night, We were warmly welcomed by reception staff and quickly booked in. We were given a room on the second floor so had to carry our cases up 2 flights of stairs. . The room was clean and compact with coffee making facilities. We were a few doors away from the breakfast room and were a little concerned we would be disturbed by guests passing our door early in the morning. but this was not the case, we had a good nights sleep due to a comfortable bed. The breakfast comprised of cooked and continental which was constantly replenished, nice coffee and yoghurts but sausages a lot to be desired.
Durango is a lovely place to browse around so allow some time before you leave.

Room Tip: If you are unable to carry cases up stairs I suggest you try and book a room on the ground floor.

Nothing special about the place. Everything was just average including the room and the breakfast. Our room had a king bed which left very little room to move around, Would have been much more comfortable with a queen bed. Older but clean. Not very close to downtown but the free Durango Trolley was very helpful. We will probably stay elsewhere next time.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms had quality furnishings and very new and clean bedding. We got a lot for the money. The free breakfast had a good variety and the cooked items were fresh and well made. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Motel is on outskirts of Durango. It's not a very attractive location at all. The hotel room was adequate but was very unattractive. Breakfast was OK but nothing too interesting. For the price they charged I was expecting more to be honest. Had better stays for less.
Wouldn't recommend it personally, find somewhere closer to town or somewhere with more character.
