This is a great place to stay if you are traveling with children. There's plenty of room to spread out and there is a full kitchen and dining room so you don't have to eat at restaurants for every meal. Check in is easy if you get there between 4:00 and 5:00. Our floorplan had a living room, dining room, full kitchen, a bedroom downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. There was also a sofa sleeper in the living room so there's plenty of room for a large family. The location is close to downtown. There is not daily maid service but they do offer towel service. Make sure you bring your own toiletries because they don't have those. They do have a pool but we didn't use it. If you want a fancy hotel stay at the Doubletree Hotel. If you enjoy having lots of space and being able to make some of your own meals stay at the Ferringway. TIP: If you have kids who want to swim, take them to the Durango Community Recreation Center. They have an awesome indoor aquatic center with lap pools, a shallow play center for small children, a large waterslide( it empties into 3'6" pool so even small children can do it and they let me take daughter on my lap), a current pool and a hot tub. They also have a huge climbing wall. The price of a day pass was extremely reasonable.
