“Excellent Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Ate here with while out on business. Ordered the Himalayan fried rice. Large portion sized meals and of course the food is very tasty. The waiter was great & very friendly. The only downside is the prices are a bit high. I would eat here again.

“really tough lamb- raw tandoori chicken”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

The food was 'ok'. The sauces were acceptable (definitely more Indian than Nepalese) but the lamb was really tough in the masala dish and at least one piece of chicken in the tandoori was raw. They advertised a special Cosmo made with Grey Goose and I watched our waiter (doubled as the bartender) make it with Absolut. When I asked him about it, he just laughed - not sure he understood me very well - and it was mostly cranberry juice anyhow. Overall I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

One adult, senior, children aged 8,9.
All four of us thought this was one of the best food ever.
Grandad loved the mixed grill, I enjoyed the Special, kids had tandoori, and the samosas were the best we had ever had.
Excellent food, great value, everyone was happy!

“Great stop for Nepalese food. I wish it was in my town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

This is great restaurant at the north end of Main Street in Durango. Great décor, polite staff and very good food make this a very pleasant spot for supper. The ambiance is enthusiastically Nepalese. We had lamb momos as a starter and then shared had a vegetarian korma and a bowl of Yak stew. The Garlic Naan was very good. The food was tasty and authentic. It was a great dining experience. It would be terrific to go there with a crowd and share dishes. The chef ran an award-winning restaurant in Pasadena and has a great life-story including climbing expeditions in the Himalayas. This is a wonderful restaurant.

“Not expected in Durango!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

What a nice surprise, great food (we had the lunch buffet). The naan bread was great, as the lentil soup, all of the chicken dishes. What a wonderful culture! Absolutely loved it and stuffed my belly to then walk it off by the river.
