“Navajo rugs and other weavings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

This is the best rug showroom and sales east of Cortez (Notah Dine) and north of Chinle (Hubble). The staff know their weaving styles and histories. They also have very high quality jewelry and artifacts.

“Great selection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

We were really impressed with the selection and quality. Fell in love with a little rain god that will soon be in our collection.

“Great native art collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My friend bought two gourds and found them very reasonably priced compared to similar items in Santa Fe.

“Established in 1957 and still going strong.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

This is a good, in not great, gallery offering a nice selection of mostly Native American art from reasonable to some high end. It is rather large and certainly worth a stroll through. The clerks on duty were quite nice and helpful.

“One of the best galleries in the entire southwest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

Not just great for it's location but great for the entire region. Toh-Atin has been in business for a very long time and is till run by the original family, the son and daughter of the founder now. Excellent quality with no junk in the store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of southwest native art. The focus of the shop has recently changed to buying collections from estates and families with no interest in what they own. This is bringing some very high quality old work into the shop. Every savvy buyer of Indian arts knows Toh-Atin, and if you have an interest in these wares, it's a must visit location in Durango.
