This is our second stay at the General Palmer, and it certainly will not be out last. The rooms are nicely decorated in a Victorian style. Staff is friendly, and there is always a fresh cup of hot coffee in the lobby.
We stay at the hotel when we come down to ride the "Polar Express". The hotel is less than a block from the train depot, which is convenient when the temps are in the single digits. The hotel is also very close to numerous restaurants.
The kids love the Teddy Bears in the room (though we have never purchased them), the small old elevator, and the fact that the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is next door.
Already looming forward to our next stay.
