“Good Stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

We ordered a basic to go style breakfast. It's the only type of place in that area, so if ya need a bagel of sorts, it's the place to go

“Good muffins and croissants”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Stayed 4 days in Durango and this was our daily regular morning stop. Almond croissants and berry muffins were a favorite of the family. It's a busy place in the morning with many mountain bikers

“YUM”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

Their fresh baked bread is delicious! I bought a loaf of sour dough and pastries filled with fruit (not sure what they are called, but they had powdered sugar on them ....so GOOD.) We also got an ice coffee.

“Robbie for MAYOR of Durang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

This hole in the wall artesian bakery is a gem. The bread is delicious and perfectly prepared. The pastries are good - not excellent (room to improve) and the sandwiches are killer. The star of this bakery is it's owner Robbie. His magnetic personality and passion for his craft and his love of his fellow Durangholes is admirable. This guy is an unrecognized champion for numerous local events and his generosity is unparalleled. If his bread was a campaign war chest he'd have a lot of dough in his coffers to take a run for Durango Mayor!

“Okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

After all the great reviews, I couldn't wait to try Bread for lunch. The bakery items looked fantastic but all the sandwiches were pre-prepared. We asked to get one custom made without all the dressing and toppings for our kids. The clerk said they do not make custom sandwiches. In addition, the selection was very limited. They also don't take credit cards.
