“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

Everyone should ride the train to Silverton at least once in their lifetime. The scenery is spectacular! Not for very young children, though -- it's a pretty long ride and they will be bored! I recommend riding the train one way and then driving back or taking the bus if it's available.

“winter train to cascade canyon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

was very nice, scenery in the snow, good box lunch, nice fire in the pavilion at Cascade Canyon. 2-for-1 Fridays made it even better!

Beautiful day, stunning scenery. My husband took so many photographs of the scenery that we still enjoy. It was a great experience

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Imagine the romance of a journey on a real steam train. Takes you back to the Wild West. Fantastic scenery and even wildlife. Silverton takes you back to the days of the frontiers. Only wish we had taken the train back down instead of the coach.
