“3 Day Incredible Adventure!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

We just completed a 2 night/3 day adventure rafting trip on the upper salt. Incredible scenery and lots of variation, which was very cool. Our guides were Neil and Wade and we were lucky enough to not have any other guests with us. It really made it feel like a private tour for us, but more than that, both Neil and Wade made it extremely comfortable and enjoyable for my wife and I.

They helped us set up the tent the first night and get everything settled, but more than that, these guys can cook!!! We had incredible food the entire trip, and it definitely wasn't cheap or limited. Setting up the kitchen each night took some time, but we were in no rush and just enjoyed the scenery. We had a few class 4 rapids (which were the best!) and then some class 3 and 2's... The weather was incredible and allowed us to have some great sunsets, amazing star-gazing at nights, wonderful sunrises, and nice and sunny days. The water was cold, but with the wetsuits on, it was very refreshing. Got chilly at night, but with the fire going, we stayed warm, and definitely bring good shoes/boots, long sleeves, and even a beanie hat. The tent keeps you warm at night and they provide the sleeping bags, so we didn't have to worry about anything. We were even dumb enough to not bring headlamps, but they had 2 extra ones and let us borrow them, so that was extremely helpful.

We had never done this sort of rafting trip, just day trips, so we were very excited about the 3 day trip. I can, and will, honestly say that the trip was incredible... in every aspect. They really pay attention to the little details and make it very comfortable and fun for the guests. Neil was extremely informative about the river, geological formations, and plant life in the area. We even saw a bald eagle!

It was incredible to just be out in nature with nobody else around and just listen the peace and quiet of the park... very tranquil. Great conversation with both Neil and Wade and now we are super excited about planning a trip to Durango!

Thanks so much guys, you don't know how much fun we had and how much we appreciated all your efforts!!! Hopefully we will meet up in Durango!!!

We do an annual rafting trip and used these guys for the first time. What a great adventure! The guides were great, pointing out local sights and doling out local lore about the river. Lots of fun!

“Mild, Wild . . . and Safe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Took a whitewater kayaking tour with our two teenage sons this summer. Awesome time with some well-trained and experienced guides! Our sons loved the experience! The guides did a fantastic job of explaining paddling and how to recover if you flipped out of your boat - which happened to my husband on a Class III rapid. He did exactly as instructed and was fine. This is a great company and a great experience!
