“monster cinnamon rolls!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

I should mention that neither of us ordered a cinnamon roll, but the teenager at the table next to us did, and wow -- that was a sight to behold! We say next time we go, maybe we'll get one to share.

This cafe is fun -- there's a little train going around along the ceiling, and fun stuff to read on the walls (murphy's laws etc.). It was super busy when we arrived, so we had to wait, but the staff and the other customers were all very friendly and pleasant about it. I could tell that there were a lot of regulars because the staff greeted them by name and they chatted. We were total strangers, but were made to feel just as welcome.

I can't remember the name of what I ordered, but something like an egg/bacon/avocado scamble -- YUMMMMM! Very fresh and cooked just like I would cook it at home. Next time we are in Durango, we're definitely stopping here again.

“Good comfort food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Went for breakfast. Line was out the door at 830am. Food was good. French toast and pancakes were the best. Hashbrowns were just OK. It was $32 for a family of 4 with juice.

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Just happened to come across this little place on our travels. The food was good, the service was good, but the personalities of the servers were cold. I recommend for the food only!!

“Excellent breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014 via mobile

Stopped here on the way from the airport to our rental home. Two adults and two kids who were tired, hungry and cranky. The restaurant was small but very popular. Food was excellent. I had the Mex Brex ... it was wonderful. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere. A great first stop during our first trip to beautiful Durango, CO. We will definitely be back!

“Just wasn't the same...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

Way over-cooked hash browns made the entire plate dry - no accommodations for baby...the only clamp-on seat they had didn't even stay on the table, so so dangerous! Waitress couldn't even substitute a sausage patty for the sausage link on kid menu. Used to be so much fun with the overhead train attraction...guess it doesn't work any more. Think we'll stick to CJ's!
