I guess part of this is my fault. There was one review that mentioned it being "close to the road" and "road noise", but I didn't realize it was right on the road. There is no front yard and probably only 10-15 feet,if that, from the road. In fact, my husband commented several times it was dangerous to try to pull out. The cabin was very nice and really decorated cute, just like the reviews said. But I was looking for a nice little cabin back in the trees. There was no way I could have slept with the windows open, because of the road noise. The cabins next door were also very close, like barely enough room to park your car and not have to worry about opening your door into their car. The river is not just right out the back door, but a walk. In my opinion, we paid way too much money to stay here. There was nothing wrong with the inside of the cabin, in fact, like I said, it was very nice, The only negatives were that there was no ice; no ice maker or ice trays. The plug in the bathroom did not like the hair dryer, either theirs or mine. It would quit working and you had to wait awhile for it to start again.
If this cabin had a different location, I would not have had a problem. In fact my husband, other than the limited space to pull onto the road, did not have a problem with it. Of course, we kept the windows closed and the drapes pulled. I know he would have had a problem if we left them open. I would not have been comfortable using the hot tub, even with the fence, again because of the closeness of the neighboring cabins.
If you are used to living in the city, maybe it would be okay for you, but we are used to the wide open spaces and not hearing your neighbors, so I was disappointed.
