“Amazing experience being up close with Wolves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2012

This is a tour that is about an hour and a half. We made reservations to go during feeding time. We saw seventeen wolves; there was a variety from Arctic wolves to coyotes. There were also fox. We were even able to communicate with them - Wow what a sound!
This was a very pleasant surprise - We think they're doing a great job here. Go and see for yourself.

“Up close and personal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2011

If you are looking for an experience that most people don't get, you are in for a treat in going to the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center! A friend and I took part in the Moonlit Wolf Tour, which allowed us to see them in their activities after dark. Be aware that this tour is very popular though, and we were separated into two groups of 30 people or so to walk the Wildlife Center. But first you get to meet some of the wolves and if you're lucky, they will walk right up to you to say hello, give you a kiss, or just allow you to pet their thick fur before they move on to other guests. Plenty of great photo opportunities in the meet and greet with wolves as it happens before it gets dark, and then the tour begins where you get to hear how each of the wolves/foxes/coyotes came to live at the Wildlife Center. The owner is an inspiration in making this happen and giving the animals the best lives possible. You can tell that the people who work there love their jobs as well. If a moonlit tour isn't enough personal time with the animals, you can set up a private party that allows you more interaction with them. Flashlights and layers are recommended for the moonlit tour and the end interaction where you howl and the animals return by howling is a beautiful and amazing experience! Parking can be a challenge so come early enough to get a good spot and check in!

“AWESOME !every had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2011

I had an opportunity to visit the CWWC this past summer and as i dais as the title it was the most awesome experience i have ever had. These wonderful people are doing what can only be described as great works in providing a safe place for not only the wolves, but for all the creatures in their care. The volunteers that work here are so knowledgeable. i highly recommend a visit to the Center, he picture i have attached pretty much says it all . thank you all so much and i will be back again. cynthia rahricht

“A+ Organization”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2011

Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is one of the top things to do in the Colorado Springs area. The hour long tours are not only completely reasonable in price, but the education you receive about wolves, fox and coyote are un-matched. Tour guides are fun and the animals' personalities to light, giving you the sense that these animals have more in common with us than what we could ever imagine. You also have the opportunity to have a "wolf encounter" if you choose to do so. When you leave, you will want to be a voice for these animals! The facility is beautifully kept and is very clean. They have different species of wolves, ranging from Arctic wolves to the endangered Mexican Gray Wolf. Each enclosure is 1/2 - 1 acre in size, natually landscaped with beautiful rock structures, aspen and pine trees. The animals are in great condition, and you can tell each one is loved and well taken care of! MUST GO!!!

“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2011

This experience ranks with the top 10 in my travels. Definitely worth the time and money-in fact I plan on returning soon. To hear these magnificant creatures howling in converstation, with just feet separating man from beast was quite a thrill. The Center is well organized, the tours very professional, with a variety of experience levels. A terrific introduction for children to appreciate the beauty of the wild and the importance of preserving it for future generations of people and wolves. Tip: do call and make reservations. You can not show up for a tour without them.
