“Great atmosphere- beautiful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2008

The Red Mountain Grill is in a convenient location just a couple of blocks away from the outlet mall and right off the freeway.

The decor is fun and eclectic with dozens of metal star lanterns hanging from the super-high vaulted ceilings. There is a beautiful stone sink in the bathroom. It is worth a potty trip to check it out. The best feature, though, is the tall 3-story windows with spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains from almost every table. Be sure to request a table next to a window for the best view.

Service was friendly but a bit slow. We arrived starving, and it took about 45 minutes to get food to our table after ordering.

I had the pistachio-crusted trout (about $17) with grapes and lemon butter sauce and the mashed potatoes. It was very tasty and light, but there was not much sauce on the fish, and without the sauce, it was a bit bland. The mashed potatoes are fantastic- very buttery and flavorful!

My husband had a seafood pasta dish (about $18) which was rich in shrimp and scallops and had a pretty good, creamy sauce. Nothing to dream about, but it was satisfying.

My 4 year-old son had the grilled cheese from the kid's menu (about $6), and I snatched a little bite. It was a better grilled cheese than he has had at any other restaurant. Speaking of kids, it was a very child-friendly atmosphere.

We look forward to eating here again and bringing friends.

“Enjoyed the Red Mountain Grill, great atmosphere, something for everyone!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2008

We went to the Red Mountain Grill on our last night at Keystone in April, after finding good reviews on the internet. We loved it! Very easy to find, just off highway 6 in Dillon. The atmosphere is great, very interesting with perfect lighting. We had to wait in the bar for about 30 minutes for a table, but that was no problem for us. The bartender was very friendly, as was the hostess, who apologized for our wait.

The restaurant's menu has a great variety. Two of us ordered pasta dishes, one had pepper steak with potatoes and veggies, another a burger, and the last fish and chips. Everyone loved their food. Next time we go, would love to try the wood oven pizzas!

Add this one to your list to try the next time you are in the Keystone/Dillon area.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2008

Went to Red Mtn. Grill, Sunday, April 13th. Seated immediately, but then sat at the table waiting for anyone to take an order. Waitress was nice enough, but the food was not really that good, service was horribly slow. Over 30 minutes to recieve our dinners. Too many other better choices in the area to be treated so poorly in a restaurant, even during slow season. Try Arapahoe Cafe, or Pug Ryans - never a bad meal, and much, much better service!

“Best food variety, best value, best atmosphere, best service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2008

What a wonderful surprise it was to find the Red Mountain Grill. After consuming much mediocre food and spending many $$$, our daughter picked this restaurant off of Hwy 6 in Dilon. The interior is eclectic and tastefully unique. Love the lighting! The food offered variety from Mexican flair to grilled Rocky Mountain trout. The children's menu is typical from chicken fingers to mac and cheese. RMG was an extremely good value with super service. We liked it so much, we went back a couple more times. Good cosmos too!
