This Gringo loves tacos and these are the very best. This place is "Mexican tacky" in decor but is very busy so their ingredients are fresh out of necessity. It is in the heart of Federal's Asian/Mexican district and very ethnic so if you are not comfortable with this type of atmosphere stay away. Having a good handle on your high school Spanish will also serve you well but you can get by without it. I stick with the tacos and at $1.70 per taco you cannot go wrong. I am good with 2 as they are very generous but big eaters should order 3. My daughter likes the tostadas as well. They have a fine tequila selection at very inexpensive prices. Be very careful at the salsa bar as most are mucho picante (very hot). I would stay awy from their Mexican combination plates as they are fair. I give them five stars for the a la carte tacos, tostadas, gorditas and sopas. Their al pastor, pollo, carnitas and adobadas are my favorite fillings with the al pastor being carved directly off the spit getting the very best of all ratings. They are a quick shot away from the Pepsi Center and I frequent this place before hockey oand basketball games. If I leave spending more than twenty bucks for 4 people with drinks and tips I know have splurged!
