I stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night (April 4th) because of a convention I had to go to for work. Let me just tell you that I don't think there is or will be anything close to what the Ritz has to offer! The room was wonderful with a bed that I did not want to get out of (ever!). SINCERE Customer Service that makes you feel great! (in todays world HARD to find). The only bad thing is that now that I have experienced what the Ritz Denver has to offer, all other hotels in Colorado just won't feel the same.

  • Liked — The bed, room, customer service from all!
  • Disliked — Now when I stay at anyother hotel it just won't be up to par.

Denver has long needed a Ritz Carlton hotel and it was well worth the wait. One bedroom suite was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Customary exceptional service. They have a nice Bently (or Rolls, can't recall) that will take you anywhere within five miles of the hotel (includes Cherry Creek). Hoped for better in hotel dining than Elways, but can't complain about the food. There is no reason to stay anywhere else when traveling to Denver.

Now, when you have an opportunity to stay at a Ritz that’s a month and half old, you take it. lad I did. The service at valet and check-in was top notch. The room was gorgeous. Well laid out, brand new flat screen TV, marble bathroom, glassed in shower, and separate soaking tub. They had overhead lights over the bed that you could turn off with a switch on the side of the night stand. The in room coffee was superb and the turn down service, (providing ice and bottled water at bed side) was great. The beds are comfy. All is top notch about the hotel.

The only issue to point out is that the hotel is directly across from the Denver bus station. I find that a bit odd, especially when walking to LoDo, and being hit up for cash by the homeless congregating in front of the Greydog’s lair (bus station). So a word to the wise, if you are uncomfortable with the homeless, be careful around the hotel. Second word to the wise, 7 blocks away in LoDo is Vesta’s Dipping Grill. Highly recommended. Food was fantastic, service was great, and they let you eat at the bar if you are solo on business.

I can offer no review of Elway’s, which is the Ritz’s restaurant. However, I was told by my local colleagues not to bother. However, in keeping with the review parameters, I can offer no opinion because I did not grab a beer in their bar or otherwise eat there. Both nights when I returned, the bar sounded crowded, but I did not get an opportunity to go in.

In sum, fantastic hotel, fantastic service, and I hope to get a room there on my next run through Denver.

  • Liked — Well thought out rooms, fantastic service
  • Disliked — The Bus station is across the street

After a weeks hard snowboarding we wanted somewhere to relax before our flight back to England. This new Ritz-Carlton did everything we wanted and more. From the moment the head doorman opened the door to our car to the moment we were waved off everything was perfect.

Check-in was quick and easy, Concierge couldn't be more helpful. In fact all the staff wanted to go out of their way to help.

As for the room it was first class, great bed and the Bulargi soaps and shampoos in the bathroom were the icing on the cake

Should I return to Denver there is only one place I will stay.

While surfing TripAdvisor to get opinions on Denver hotels I was delighted to learn that a new Ritz-Carlton was about to open. I booked there immediately and moved in with my grandson for a three-day stay two weeks after it opened. What can I say beyond that it is a Ritz-Carlton - as close to perfection as a hotel can get. The room was spacious with every amenity, including free shoeshine service. The marble bathroom had twin sinks, Bulgari soap, a large shower, and a toilet enclosed in its own little cubicle. My grandson reported that the fitness center was the best he had ever visited. The food in the restaurant, Elways, is delicious and imaginative. There is, of course, a business center. But, of course, it is the legendary Ritz-Carlton service that one remembers the most. Everyone, particularly the concierge, was pleasant and helpful and greeted us by our names. Elena of Guest Relations did a great job getting us a last minute reservation at Restaurant Kevin Taylor (I recommend that highly too) on a busy Saturday night. Michael, the elderly bellman, is a charmer. A former wrestler he took another job in retirement and now circulates in the lobby greeting guests by name and offering help as though he were your uncle.. After escorting us to our room he took a great deal of time explaining everything including how to work the complicated hi-tech coffee-making machine. The front desk personnel were equally pleasant and readily gave me a late checkout when I requested it. The Ritz-Carlton is in the heart of downtown Denver just two blocks from the famous 16th Street Mall. If you are going to Denver, there is only one hotel to consider - the Ritz-Carlton.
