My family and I (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed here August 15-25, 2006.
Except for a reservation glitch (our reservation got cancelled somehow) the stay was great. You have restaurant, grocery store, theater within walking distance. Yes it is far from town but for our purpose it was great. We basically used it as eat/sleep place since we were always on day trips seeing the sights/sounds of Denver & Colorado.
We took the 2 bedroom w/queen beds suite w/kitchen. For a family of 4 it was excellent. Master had TV and one in the livingroom. This meant you could put the kids to bed in their own bedroom and still enjoy some parental down time. In a pinch the livingroom hide-a-bed could accomodate 2 more.
It had all the goodies one would need for home away from home (outdoor heated pool, exercise, laundry, full kitchen with all the pots, pans, cuttlery).
What was different was their "refresh" system where if you were there for more than a week they did not change the sheets every day. They came every 2 days with towels & kitchen refills and did the beds. Then once a week they changed the linen. For us it was fine but for some it may not. From an environmental standpoint it is a good thing.
It's location was ideal (just off I-25 at exit 201) if you did the tourist thing and did not need to venture into town. Parking was abundant. Staff were great/helpful. You have a complimentary PC to check e-mails in the lobby (bonus).
I would definitely recommend this hotel for long stay. Based on previous reviews on this hotel on this site I chose it. The previous reviewers were on the mark.
