I really can't say much positive outside that the location is convenient and the starbucks in the lobby is nice.

Other than that the rooms were very dated. When I arrived I was told that the water would be turned off from 10pm to 6am. Well, come 6:30 in the morning the water ran brown for about 20 minutes and there was no water pressure when I wanted to take a hot shower. I was able to get pressure on the cold water and that's how I showered.

There are plenty of restaraunts around the area so that was nice. The cheesecake factory is good. I am not familiar with Denver but I am certain there are better places to stay for $190.00 a night. Very dissapointing.

The Westin Hotel in the Tabor Center is a frequent overnight spot for us when we are in town for the night.The location is almost unbeatable as it is directly on the 16th Pedestrian Mall but within walking distance of hip Lodo and upscale Larimier Square. The hotel frequently offers "specials" online which include breakfast and valet parking.(Saves you between $25 - $50 easily). While the Westin is a large chain this hotel still manages to have its own streamlined style and personality.It's not wildly romantic but it is a nice place to getaway for fun and a little R&R. The rooms are very comfortable with nice linens and poofy comforters. The staff is curteous and professional. A side note - there is a "see and be seen" Denver Steak restaurant on the lower level called the Palms. It's the place for power lunches or a fabulous martini on the weekend!

I have no idea why the June 5th three star reviewer wrote that the rooms look "tired". Everything the June 5th reviewer complained about did not occur during my stay, I wonder if they are confusing the Westin Tabor Center with a different hotel. This hotel looks like it was newly built last month! The hotel lobby had the class and atmosphere of a W hotel and the room was so clean it felt like I was the first guest to occupy it. The heavenly bed and bath is the standard which all hotel rooms should be judged. I love the fact that the hotel is connected to the shopping center and right near 16th street. I can just walk over to the food court and grab someting quick. Service was excellent and the front desk employee was very helpful in giving me walking directions to the hockey game. There is nothing to complain about regarding this Westin Hotel. Don't believe anyone who rates this hotel less than above average.

My husband and I travel often and we were extremely pleased by our stay at the Westin Tabor Center over the Thanksgiving Holiday! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The lounge in the lobby was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the Starbucks inside the hotel was convenient!
Our 14th floor room had a great view, plush bedding and nice furnishings.
I've never seen a hotel have a more perfect location to shopping, dining, night spots, and sporting events!
If that's not good enough for you, while we were there, The Rolling Stones and the NBA LA Clippers were staying at this Westin (yes, we saw them)!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Denver and we hope to go back soon.
