We stayed at the Westin for New Year's Eve, so we payed a premium price. But we weren't disappointed! The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was spacious with lots of clean white towels. The bed was really plush and wonderful. We could see city lights and the mountains from our room.
This hotel is attached to the Tabor Center on the 16th Street Mall, which houses many shops and eateries, including the ESPN Zone. What a wild place to eat...the kids absolutely loved it! It is also a less than a block to the Cheesecake Factory, and close to Larimer Square and it's restaurants and Comedy Club.
We are Denver natives, and have stayed at other hotels downtown. We think the Westin is one of the nicer places we've stayed, although like I mentioned, it wasn't inexpensive!
The parking can be pretty costly, but it was very convenient to use the valet. ($24 day, $21 Friday and Saturdays)
