Great location for Rockies game. Outdoor pool and indoor pool. Our room was ready when we checked in at 12:30PM but when we got in it I noticed that there was a jar of peanuts stuck in the cushion of the arm chair and what appeared to be small feathers on the floor under and behind the arm chair and a hair curler clip. I called for housekeeping before we left for the pool and when we came back the peanuts and the hair curler clip was gone but the feathers were still on the floor behind the chair. I called again for housekeeping to come up which they did while we were out again and this time it was done. I was afraid to use the glasses that were provided since vacuuming was not a priority I was afraid of how the glasses were cleaned. I checked the bed and pillows to see if they were clean and they seemed clean. It was a nice hotel but they do not pay attention to housekeeping.

My fiance and I booked through the hotel on a points and cash rate. Check was fast and easy and the service was great. They upgraded us to a nice room on the top floor. Bedding, bathroom and decor was beautiful. They even sent up fruit and wine on the house. Everyone was helpful, telling us where to go and giving recommendations. The only thing was the parking, very expensive...they allow others to park in their garage and the fee is expensive..26 a day. We did not eat there, so no comment on food. The location cant be beat, right next to ESPNZONE and the 16th street mall. We would totally stay here again as it was the best stay we have ever had.

Having stayed at Westins in Dublin and St. Louis I decided to go with a safe choice for our night out sans kids in downtown Denver. We checked in at 1 and our room wasn't ready until 2:45 due to short staffing on the cleaning end. Great location but wasn't impressed otherwise. Our room was on the 14th floor and faced west which I requested and appreciated having that request honored. The room itself was rather small. The bathroom was disappointing as well. Almost could have been a bathroom in a motel. The entertainment center and TV were dated and we chose not to watch a pay per view because of the fuzzy picture. Bed was okay, not luxurious and the pillows touched the mattress. I would definitely choose another hotel in the area as there are many. Compared to where we've stayed on other visits The Westin felt substandard. The plumbing was loud and slow. The bath towels weren't of high quality either. Compared to our stays at the other Westin locations I felt like this one was a less than 4 star and some "other" chain hotel.

This hotel was very accomodating and luxurious. We had a room on the 10th floor facing the Rockies that was excellent and very comfortable. You can't beat the location, with it standing right on the 16th Street Mall! Even better was sitting in the Starbucks on the ground floor and watching the Mets leave the hotel to go to their noon game that day!
