We stayed at the Burnsley on a Saturday night and Sunday night in April. We were given a very large suite on the 6th floor with a view of the Capitol on our balcony and a view of the mountains through the dining room windows.
The hotel is obviously apartments that have been made into a hotel so the suites are VERY large and comfortable. My husband loved the king bed in our suite and thought it was more comfortable than most. He travels two weeks out of the month, so he would have many hotel beds to compare. I liked that the beds didn't have the old type comforters but had the white duvet cover with sheets on both sides that are washed after guests leave! It's entirely white. Hard to hide stains so you feel it's very clean.
The suite has been remodeled but it is showing a bit of wear in some areas. As someone else pointed out in an earlier review, the furniture is a bit worn in places but I think what should be addressed first is the carpeting which could probably stand to be replaced soon. The bathroom had very poor lighting and it could probably stand to be updated at bit.
In spite of the couple of things mentioned above, the room was clean and the kitchen with coffee pot and coffee, dining area, living room, bath, and bedroom with doors going out to a balcony made our stay very enjoyable.
We had drinks in the bar downstairs Saturday night and also dinner in the restaurant. There were chocolate chip cookies offered at the desk that night and apples during the day. We both enjoyed our meals although they were a bit expensive. We had breakfast coupons for a buffet which wasn't offered either day but we were able to order off the menu which was average.
The staff were all very friendly and the free parking was nice too. If the price was right, we'd come back for sure
