We stayed at the Burnsley on a Saturday night and Sunday night in April. We were given a very large suite on the 6th floor with a view of the Capitol on our balcony and a view of the mountains through the dining room windows.
The hotel is obviously apartments that have been made into a hotel so the suites are VERY large and comfortable. My husband loved the king bed in our suite and thought it was more comfortable than most. He travels two weeks out of the month, so he would have many hotel beds to compare. I liked that the beds didn't have the old type comforters but had the white duvet cover with sheets on both sides that are washed after guests leave! It's entirely white. Hard to hide stains so you feel it's very clean.
The suite has been remodeled but it is showing a bit of wear in some areas. As someone else pointed out in an earlier review, the furniture is a bit worn in places but I think what should be addressed first is the carpeting which could probably stand to be replaced soon. The bathroom had very poor lighting and it could probably stand to be updated at bit.
In spite of the couple of things mentioned above, the room was clean and the kitchen with coffee pot and coffee, dining area, living room, bath, and bedroom with doors going out to a balcony made our stay very enjoyable.
We had drinks in the bar downstairs Saturday night and also dinner in the restaurant. There were chocolate chip cookies offered at the desk that night and apples during the day. We both enjoyed our meals although they were a bit expensive. We had breakfast coupons for a buffet which wasn't offered either day but we were able to order off the menu which was average.
The staff were all very friendly and the free parking was nice too. If the price was right, we'd come back for sure

WE booked this hotel solely on the reviews from tripadvisor. As usual, did not dissapoint. This is a hidden gem of a hotel. It is in a more residential part of the city. If you like to walk a city, perfect for you. It is only about 6 blocks from capital so you can easily walk and then catch FREE ride down 16th to all the action. Lovely hotel, nice rooms, very quiet. THere is a great little local place called Charlie Browns right across the street if you are looking for a easy drink and some lively entertainment. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was overpriced but good. We were in room 1205 which was facing east so the views weren't as nice if you were staying on mountain side but we still got a view. Great mexican place called Benny's right down the ride. We loved Denver and will be back and would definitely stay at the Burnsley again.

This is a wonderful hotel. This is a smaller hotel in the Cap-Hill area of Denver, just several blocks from downtown. The halls are narrow, lol, because there are only six suites on each floor. Free parking and great rates. The views are great, especially if they are facing west. The suites are spacious and nice. The decor is nice, but some of the wood furniture needs to be updated. There is a full size kitchen and dining room, plenty of closet space, but no fireplace. Average standard bathroom. The balcony is a plus (and a good size too), its rare to find a hotel with a balcony, only a selected few have them. The restaurant and the loung is great, kind of pricy, but well worth it. The staff in all areas were great too.

What a nice surprise while we stayed at the Burnsley Suites hotel. The suite we reserved was spacious, and full of comfort. The daily maid-service was superb. The Suite was a corner unit which enabled us to see both the downtown (4 blocks) and also a full view of the Rocky Mtns. It was clean, comfortable and well priced. Being in the Golden Triangle, you are blocks away from downtown shopping nestled in a residential up & coming neighborhood gallery neighborhood. We had the pool to ourselves one afternoon, and the wait-staff couldn't of been any friendlier. This is well kept secret, and a surprise to us being well traveled in many metropolitan cities.
Floors 12 and up are all the larger suites with incredible balcony views!

I am a Pilot for British Airways, so along with eighteen flight crew and two Second Officers, we were directed to The Burnsley Hotel. Our confirmed reservations at a downtown Hotel, had been cancelled in error. We were delighted to have had the opportunity to stay in one of the best hotels we had ever stayed in! I would highly recommend this beautiful place, it's decor, and what a fabulous Restaurant, the staff were excellent. We all said it was the best food we had ever eaten, and the best hotel we had ever stayed at. We travel the World, and have stayed at thousands of hotels. I could recommend this one as the best yet!
