I searched for weeks looking for a hotel close to downtown Denver with a sky line view, free parking and free internet. I thought these expectations wouldn't be a problem, but it indeed was. I stumbled across the Burnsley and noticed it offered everything I was looking for, but I was cautious after reading some of the reviews. I booked a room anyway and was given a corner room on the 6th floor that offered a view of the mountains and the the city. I am very impressed with this hotel. Sure, the furniture is a little outdated but you are literally in an apartment! I will stay here everytime I come for the price and the location. After we arrived we went down to the lobby and asked for a shuttle to downtown. Not only did we get a ride but the man who was driving us actually gave us tips on attractions to see. The drive was very short and could definitely be walked. I can not say enough good about this place. I will say though, that they can keep the outdated furniture as long as they keep the free parking, free internet, and price low. The balconies are spacious and amazing! I highly recommend this place!

My husband & I spent two nights at the Burnsley Hotel. We were visiting Denver because my husband was participating in the Barbershop National Competition. Most of the members stayed at a nearby higher priced hotel with less room and accomodations.
I always feel cluster phobic in a room without an outside access, so that was the reason why I chose the Burnsley Hotel for the outside balcony of which had a beautiful view of the downtown Denver area and the Rockies in the background.
The room was exceptional! We felt like we had an appartment with all the space. It was clean, great for cross ventalation with all the windows, not to mention the views!!! The bed was very comfortable. There were 2 televisions which made it great for us since I am up late watching tv. I stayed in the living watching tv and it didn't bother him in the bedroom.
The location is convenient. A great restaurant across the street for dining with piano music till the late hours.
Most definately we would stay at the Burnsley and recommend it to anyone visiting downtown Denver!

Got a good rate on [--]. Rooms large and full kitchen and patio. Felt more like an apartment then hotel. Found staff helpful, and free shuttle (3 mile range) useful. Location is great. Rooms are getting long in tooth. And I too had some doubts about bedding. But found it comfortable, private and enjoyable place to stay.

“Fantastic!”

The Burnsley All-Suite Hotel

Nov 17, 2007

I was looking for a nice hotel at a decent price near downtown during the World Series. For 170$ a night I found the Burnsley and I couldn't have been happier.
The suite was more an apartment than a suite: kitchen, bathroom, very large living room with round table that sits 6 people, sofa, two tv's, nice king size bed, and a nice balcony with fantastic views fo the city and the Rocky Mountains.
Very clean, bathroom a bit old but in good shape, staff corteous, free covered parking on site.
I'll definitely make the Burnsley my first choice when returning to Denver.

I was going to stay at a hotel near the airport, but the people I was coming to meet told me I needed to be closer to downtown. I didn't want to spend a lot, and decided on the Burnsley. Overall, I was quite pleased. It's a little dated, esp the bath, so if you're looking for glamour, this isn't the place for you. But here are the things I liked: The room was very spacious. It was clean. It was extremely quiet. I thought I was the only person on the floor for a while, because I didn't hear a sound in the hallway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the white linens smelled very fresh and clean. It's a short walk to the Denver Museum of Art and downtown, if you're a walker, so the location is pretty convenient. The restaurant's food is quite good and very reasonable in price. Ditto for room service. Eggs benedict were excellent. Also had very good buffalo patty, turkey sandwich and black bean soup. There was also complementary fresh fruit, brownies and choc chip cookies at the front desk at different times during the day.. Parking and wifi service are complementary, and those are really nice perks in my book. The downsides for me is that they didnt' have a jacuzzi or any type of work out room. Outside of these two items, I think it's a good value, and I would definitely stay there again.
