“Clean rooms and friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

My friends & family had just taken a trip to Costa Rica. The airline we used was less than good. Three was no customer service and we were treated poorly. We had so much bad happen to us, that when we got back to the United States and got a room at the Quality Inn & Suites @DIA, we were very frazzled. The staff that helped us, Kim & Amanda, were so nice, so helpful and it was such a pleasure to deal with them, that I could not wait to write a review. The room was wonderful, clean and nicely priced. We were just treated so well, if I ever have to stay near DIA, they are my choice. Thank you Kim and Amanda!

Very comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location is close to the airport and there are a couple of dining options close by also. Overall, this hotel is a great value.

Inadequate parking spaces make it a challenge to find parking. Soda & water vending machines are disabled and you are forced to pay twice the price of the vending machine at the make-shift store behind the counter or walk across the street to the convenience store, where prices and other items are much more reasonably priced. Rooms and beds are okay, about the same as any place else on the hotel strip near the airport. Front desk staff seems inexperienced and a little confused but they are friendly.

Thank you for your honest review about your stay with us. I am sorry to learn that you had difficulty locating a parking space. I just want to be clear that our hotel does not feature any vending machines. We do have a market that is located off of our lobby and adjacent to our front desk. The pricing structure is set in comparison to the pricing offered by our local competing hotels. Once again, I do appreciate the feedback about your stay with us.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The staff is wonderful and always willing to help out in any way they can. Great location for airport and I can park a commercial truck on their lot. And there are many eating places within walking distance.

Room Tip: Upper floors on southeast side are the quietest.

Stayed here on our last night of skiing before catching a flight the next morning. It's very close to the airport, yet you don't hear any airport noise. My only complaint and it's quite minor is the entrance door doesn't automatically open like in most hotel. It's a cheap looking double door that is very unimpressive that you have to pull open which is difficult while carrying baggage. Once you enter the place looks very pleasant. Our suite was very spacious with a sliding door to separate the bedroom with the living space. Our son slept on a rollaway bed and thought it was more comfortable then the average sofa bed which was also in the suite. The room was very well appointed and we had tons of space to store all baggage without tripping over everything. Bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet which led to a grea nights sleep. Shower pressure was not great. Breakfast was very good with many choices. A very nice room at a very reasonable rate. Would recommend and definitely would return.

Thank you very much for your kind review of your stay with us. I understand how frustrating the front doors can be with travelers that have a lot of luggage. This is actually an improvement we are looking to make later on in the year. I am happy to hear that you did enjoy your stay overall and we are looking forward to serving you again in the future.

We stayed here one night. Room 407 faces a parking lot with two very bright lights that stay on all night. The drapes in room 407 do not close over the window and, as a result, the room is not dark at night, nor is it private. By the time we realized this, we did not want to ask for another room. Since the drapes do not close, it seems there should be blinds or a shade on the window to keep out the light and ensure some privacy. Other than that, the room was comfortable, although the bathroom was somewhat small. When we checked in, the associate at the front desk was multi tasking extensively....helping us check in, answering phone calls, talking to a maintenance man about a power outage. We were lucky to be the only ones checking in at the time. Breakfast was good, many selections. If we stay here again, we will definitely check the windows and the privacy before we get settled in.

Thank you very much for the review of your stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you did not get a good night's sleep because of the parking lot lights. Located behind the sheer drape are the blackout drapes that do prevent some of the bright exterior lighting from shining into the room at night. We always encourage all of our guests that if there is something they are not satisfied with during their stay, that they immediately call the front desk so we can resolve any of these kind of issues.

We stayed there 2 nights this month. The entire venue is immaculate and comfortable. They are located only a few minutes from the airport and they offer a Stay, Park & Fly deal which allows you to leave your car parked at their location and get to and from your airport gate via their 24 hour shuttle.. Very convenient for early morning departures and no need to go through the hassle of the airport parking lot and lugging your luggage (no pun intended). Aside from a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, the price also includes a substantial breakfast with a good number of choices.

Room Tip: Make a reservation. The last evening we were there they were turning folks away.
