I had a reservation for a non-smoking room with two double beds. All I was expecting was a clean, basic room. Arrived at hotel- they could not locate my reservation despite a reservation number. After 10 minutes they "found" it. Great, proceed to room- it was a smoking room with a king bed. Room was shabby and dirty looking. Hotel refused to give me another oom, stating they were sold out. So we went to another inn down the street - management there said the Guesthouse frequently overbooks providing business to nearby competitors.

We booked this hotel through Expedia and only cost us $34 a night. It was well worth the money. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was above your average continental and the free shuttle service was great. We could go to Six Flags and Coors Field and would have cost us like $16 to park and it was free w/the shuttle service. The only thing I didn't get is that it mentioned being recently remodeled. It looked to still be an older property w/some older amenities but for the rate, I'm not going to downsize it.

What a great value! We booked a room this summer with two double beds for $45. Only small hitch was that when we checked in, they didn't have one with two doubles... so they gave us two adjacent king rooms for the same price without us even having to ask! Friendly and professional customer service. A delicious continental breakfast (including pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, milk, and make-your-own waffles) was included in the room price. The room was very clean. No view to speak of (industrial area behind hotel) but if this bothers you, you probably aren't staying at cheap hotels anyway. They recently completed a renovation so everything was brand new. I swear I thought i was in the wrong hotel when i walked into the lobby because it was WAY nicer than you would expect for $45 - two-story lobby with a curving grand stair up to the mezzanine breakfast area. You will need a car to get downtown, but it's in an okay neighborhood. I will stay again for sure!

Stayed there one night last week. Nice older property conveniently located to shopping, dining, and Interstate 70. Excellent Breakfast with most everything you might want.
