After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like many people give a hotel a poor rating based on factors outside of the hotel's control. In this case, there's one factor working against the hotel- horrible construction along the entire I-25 corridor in Denver. This isn't just in Denver, we stayed in Colorado Springs for almost a week and the entire roadway through town is being redone. If the construction was a factor I would have given the hotel one star-- but this is about the hotel, not factors outside their control.

We had one night in Denver, and had a terrific stay at this hotel after obtaining a great price on hotwire. The room was a King and the bed was by far the nicest I've slept in in a great while. The room was very nice-looking with a couch and sitting area in addition to the desk with internet access. Our room was 7th floor with a pool view. There are 2 pools, one indoor, and while we didn't have a chance to use them they were very nice looking with a large outdoor patio. The hotel has many amenities such as laundry, workout, and a huge restaurant and a nice little starbucks-esque coffee shop during the day and afternoon. We were treated respectfully by hotel staff and check in-out was lightning quick.

During our stay we visisted the Downtown Aquarium and huge REI outdoors store, and ate at Casa Bonita-- if you only have one afternoon, not a bad way to spend it. If you go to the aquarium after 6 PM there is a cut in the price of entry. I LOVED the aquarium as the exhibits were so creative, bright, shiny and new, and who would not be thrilled by the three Sumatran tigers they have also??

Parking at the hotel was never an issue, we found a spot right outside the front door and there's also a huge parking garage attached. In all I felt like we had fabulous value for our money-- probably paid a third of regular rack rate due to hotwire savings. The one "complaint" about the room would be that its bathroom was WAY too small. No way more than 1 person could fit at a time. Tub was a little on the small side. But who sleeps in the bathroom? The great bed put all other issues to rest.... literally. Just be warned about the construction if you visit Denver anytime soon. Still, it is a beautiful city.

Not bad, not great. Front desk staff was very courteous and informative. Rooms were clean and comfortable but in need of updating. I'll admit that I was expecting a little more "style" from Four Points but it is apparent that they have inherited a tired hotel.

Tons of free parking and very easy access to and from the freeway. Quick trip to Cherry Creek or downtown. Whole Foods just down the street if you're not inclined to try the restaurants.

Can't begin to say how disappointing our experience was. The list could go on and on, but will try to limit to things most relevant. First, this was our one year anniversary - and a big deal to stay in what we thought would be a very nice place. Chose this one because it was one of the few hotels whose reservationist told us they had an indoor AND outdoor heated pool! Reserved a poolside room with king size bed. Arrived and found 1) pool had iced over the previous week and had not been reheated since that time, 2) poolside room had 2 double beds, and 3) no other poolside rooms available with kingsize bed. Let me add here that the initial reservation was just for one night, but we called ahead to extend to 2 nights. Both times, the reservationist read back the info and confirmed - poolside room, king size bed. Here's what we were offered - a 10th floor room with a king size bed. Okay, so things are off to a really bad start. The so-called patio off of the room is approximately 3 x 10 feet, with nails on the floor of the patio. No chairs to sit out on the patio (if you could squeeze a couple out there). In the closet, only one terry cloth robe for the pool (even though the room is for 2). But wait, we are awakened on Saturday AM to loud machinery which is being used to hoist window washers up to each level of the hotel. Walk onto the "patio", to smell diesel fumes and 3 operators cleaning windows. There is no refrigerator in the room. God, I could go on and on. And get this - NEVER were we offered any type of discount, comp or ANYTHING to even attempt to make us happy. We will absolutely NEVER stay here again.

We've stayed at the Four Points now about a dozen times. For the kind of travel we do, with dogs and 11-year-old in tow, it works better for us than Loews (too precious), LaQuinta (not precious enough!) the Brown Palace (not dog friendly), Doubletree (too far from everything) or the Monaco (too snotty.)

We generally ask for a room with an outside entrance, and generally end up with one poolside, which is a very nice place to sit and eat room service breakfast-- and is very convenient for taking dogs in and out.

They are in the midst of an enormous renovation, so if you don't have patience for that, stay elsewhere. For the longest time they featured a room rate of $59, couldn't beat it at the Motel 6, but alas, those days are gone. Still, you can get a room for less than a hundred bucks, and that is a great thing in Denver.

Sheraton's signature beds are so much more than just comfortable, they are exquisite. Lighting is good, rooms are clean, not much bother from noise. Bath has great Speakman shower and a nice curved shower rod, excellent towels. Door handles are sometimes a little quirky... you move them up to open the door instead of down, but I think they're working on that. Complimentary bottled water, real coffee cups (instead of styrofoam or plastic) and real glass glasses to drink from.

On one occasion when I stayed here, there was no water, no cups and something else was awry. The front desk manager arrived at my door with a handwritten apology and a box of chocolates. I actually didn't need to be mollified, as I wasn't angry about the lapse, but their gesture was charming none the less.

Front desk staff have never been anything less than totally helpful... particularly Sean, James, Momadou, and Lina. Room service has been adequate, food is quite good, but it can take quite a while.... it is a huge hotel-- a bit labyrinthian, but we find our little corner, down by the pool to be quite nice.

If you want to go out, the Sushi Boat next door is great fun, and we always try to hit the New York News Deli down the street for a great breakfast or late night dinner.

We have always found this hotel to be a pleasant and stress-free place to stay while we're in Denver, and recommend it. Just don't ask for our room by the pool!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It is conventiently located within minutes of most Denver attractions. Online booking was effortless. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. Our room was a King Suite. We paid $59 per night, which was a very good price for a non-budget hotel room. The room was clean and modest. The "four points" bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bedding itself was far more cozy than most hotels in this price range. There were over 10 pillows of assorted shapes and sizes atop the bed. Very nice. The hotel provides free in-room internet access if you bring your own laptop. If you have wi-fi set up on your laptop, you're up and running within a minute or two. If you don't have wi-fi, networking cables are provided by the hotel and are located in the hotel room's closet. Otherwise, you can pay to use an in-room WebTV-type device for $11/night. The TV was smallish (19 inches) and a bit dated... but, we weren't in town to watch TV. The hotel was nearly full, but we didn't hear any noise through the walls. There are 2 pools (1 inside and 1 outside) and a hot tub. All are heated and all were open during our stay. There is a gift shop and 2 restaurants in the hotel. This hotel DOES NOT provide free breakfast in the morning and the restaurant that served breakfast was a bit overpriced and the food didn't look or smell too good on the breakfast buffet... so, we opted to hit the local IHOP instead. There is free parking surrounding the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is that they let you bring your pet and they don't charge a pet fee. I would suggest requesting a room on the first or second floor if you bring your dog because the trip through the hotel to the outside can be a bit lengthy for a dog waiting to relieve itself. All in all, this was an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I were in the Denver area.
