Stayed here for the Democratic Convention. It is very far away from downtown Denver and the area is really suburban. Do not staty here if your goal is to enjoy the city. The decor is circa 1985 with TV sets from the early '90s in the rooms and restaurant. Staff is attentive but the whole water system in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The first morning my bathtub was backing up with who knows what yellowish water. The next few days I had no hot water to speak of to take a shower. Air conditioning is terrible in the daytime as well. Housekeeping does a good job however and the breakfast buffet is pretty decent. This is really a 2 or 3 star hotel at best.

My experience was a positive one. I was attending a conference so I had an excellent rate and my room on the 10th floor had an amazing view of downtown Denver and the mountains. Amenities were good, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. The conference food was also excellent. Only improvement would be to add more computers for guest use. Props to Jeffrey for good service.

Not exactly the nicest hotel out there, but is decent for the price. Our company had a corporate rate there (<$100) so you get what you pay for.

Hotel looks very dated as most people have mentioned, and could use a little rejuvenating to make it look a little more modern. Elevators are really slow (they had 3 elevators, but we had to wait over 5 minutes for one) so look for a lower floor room so you can take the stairs.

Rooms were alright, although they too could use some work. The carpet in my room was creasing and the toilet had a very small leak that left a small puddle on the floor during my stay. Beds and linen were alright and about on par with hotels in this range. The place seemed to be clean and not too noisy.

It's somewhat convenient being close to the light rail (walking distance - about 5-10 minute walk from the hotel). There's a King Soopers supermarket across the road and transit can take you downtown, or to Park Meadows mall via the light rail.

It's a pretty decent place if you need somewhere to sleep for the night without breaking the bank. If you're looking for luxury and nice rooms, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

  • Liked — Convenience to transit, shopping
  • Disliked — Place looks very dated

Denver is a nice city. Very clean, a nice mix of old an modern. Too bad I can't say the same for this hotel. Annually my husband and I got to Colorado Springs for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. This year we decided split our vacation and spend four nights in Denver. Because we are Starwood Preferred Guests we always stay with them. We prefer the W or Westin, but we had a coupon for half off our stay at a Four Points.

We called ahead and asked them if we would be able to check into the hotel early they said a room would be ready at 12:30PM. As we arrived at 12:32PM I cringed praying the rooms were nicer on the inside and. My husband went in and came back out after just a few minutes telling me that they had given our room away and said come back at 3:00 to check in. I was very unhappy that they did not assist us any further saying "we are booked".

Three hours later we returned, checked in, and went to out room. The room was tiny and the bathroom microscopic. The decor was dated and I felt like it hadn't been touched since the early 90's. Their website said free wifi, but the only place we found it to work was the lobby, where my husband met fellow travelers that were as disappointed as we were.

We canceled the rest of our stay after only one night or sleeplessness. The bed was old and actually jabbed my ribs with a spring all night and they only provide you with two FLAT pillows, and two obscenely large throw pillows.

Upon check out my husband told them that were leaving because we were displeased with the hotel and Kelly at reception replied with, "I know, this place sucks."

Never again and I intend to get all of my starpoints back for this stay.

Stayed at the hotel on business for two nights. I was "upgraded" to room 1025 but really the only upgrade that I could see is that the room had a tiny balcony. The room itself was small and the TV was old. The hotel decor is combination medival and lodge with lots of dark dark wood.

The pool was adequate, but I refused to swim in it because two of the pool lights were out of their sockets and just floating around. I mentioned this to someone on the staff, but they just gave a blank stare.

I had the bkfst buffet in the restaurant, which was pretty good. The Italian waiter was the best. He was very friendly and funny. Don't let him go.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel for pleasure.
