Stayed here with discounted rate of $75/night for the Great American Beer Festival 2007.
The hotel is very nice, but certainly not luxury, but at $75/night it's a fine bargain. Room was decently appointed and not yet begging for a rennovation. The internet access was free and was via a cable(not WiFi). Spare network cable is in the closet. Bed was VERY comfy!
Bathroom was rather smallish(almost tiny), like having a captain's room on a nuclear submarine. Room was well kept and quiet. Other plusses include both and indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a restaurant and gift shop.
Right next door is a Starbucks(a plus in my book) and a grocery store. There is a light rail station 10 minutes walk away (I timed it, but make sure you walk down Locust street and cut through the movie theater parking lot). Taking the F or G train will get you smack into downtown Denver in 20-25 minutes.
Staff was helpful, but sometimes I was treated like I was bothering them. For this fact alone I will give the overall review of this place a 4 out of 5(it was several staff members, not just one).
Sidenote - I knew several other people staying right in downtown for the GABF, but they were paying at least triple what I was.
