We stayed here while attending a conference in October. For conferences it is very convenient, close to everything downtown, as well as the free 16th St shuttle, and the rooms spacious and accomodating. I liked it better than the conference we attended at the Adam's Mark. The food is very so-so...but I only ate the food supplied at the conference so maybe the restaurant was good. The pool is small but every clean; the steam room and jacuzzi in the health center were great - no one was ever in them. That was really a bonus feature of this hotel. The only down side to the hotel is the ridiculously expensive parking rate of 25.00 per day/valet. If you want your car out daily, or several times a day, it can take a while and the tipping can get a bit cumbersome.
The staff however were wonderful, promptly wheeled in a mini-fridge to our room free of charge, and were pleasant at all times. You an also print out boarding passes free of charge at the Starbucks in the lobby.
We would stay there again.

I agree with the previous writer. We had a room on the 17th floor and were given access to the concierge lounge. Had a HAZY view of the Rockies. I thought it was very well located. Bar (food/drink) was very nice, illuminated by the large windows in the lobby above. The room was clean and the staff great. We would stay again.

Just back from a 24 hour business trip to Denver and I must say that I found the hotel better than others on the site said it would be.

The staff was really pumped up due to the fact that the Rockies were in the play-offs and they were up to par for Marriot. I was upgraded to a mini-suite and given use of concierge level due to frequent guest status. Only snafu was that I was not actually able to access the lounge. Ordinarily, I would have raised this as an issue but given that I was in the hotel for less than 10 hours, it really didn't matter.

The location was good--central to my needs and very close to a million places to eat. Since my team was tired, we actually ate in the bar and were satisfied with the dinner.

Room was clean and comfortable--just what I expect at this chain.

Airport was a gazillion miles from down-town. I was not prepared for the $80 taxi ride back after meetings but this is NOT the fault of the hotel.

I'd stay again if in town for business but probably would go elsewhere if with my family--not much for my two young kids (3 and 1) to do.

Great Stay at the Marriott. Everything was well run from desk to restaurant. Couldn't find fault with anything. Good location to city, restaurants etc all within walking and safe.Would definately stay again. My husband tried the spa and massage very well priced. Breakfast was very good and not too expensive.

I stayed here while attending a conference. The overall appearance of the hotel was fine and my room was relatively comfortable. However, the poor service would keep me from returning. After check in, I unpacked and went to the convention hall to register for my conference. A colleague called me later and said that he tried to contact my room, but was told I checked out. I did not worry overmuch, just thinking that the front desk looked at the wrong name or something. When I returned later, my room key did not work. I went to the front desk, and I had, in fact, been checked out! They quickly checked me back in and reactivated my keys. If this would have been the only mix up, I would not have been overly upset. Well, later that evening, I requested a wake up call for the next morning. The call never came. Luckily, I woke up early. I went on to my conference and returned late in the afternoon. My room had not been made up. I called the front desk, who claimed the hotel was booked, and that housekeeping would be up shortly. I left for some evening events, and returned around 11PM. Guess what? My room had not been made up. I went down to the front desk and spoke to the manager, who apologized profusely. Housekeeping was gone for the day, according to the mgr, and my room could not be made up until the next day. She personally brought me clean towels, at least, and promised me a wake up call. No call the next day, but I did get a knock on the door, which I did not appreciate right out of the shower. I guess it was their idea of a personal wake up call. On to the conference I went... late afternoon again and no room made up... I marched down to the front desk, and they called housekeeping while I was standing there. They did make up the room by the time I returned from dinner, at least. My family arrived the next day. They were delayed due to weather and very hungry. I called Room Service. They said it would be about an hour, which I said was fine, because that was about the time my family would arrive. Well, the food arrived 15 min later! So, my family had cold food... We checked out the next day to continue on with a family vacation. No adjustment to the bill, no "I'm sorry". I will not stay here again, if I can help it.
