We took advantage of a great promotional rate ($58 including parking) to stay here with our 3 year old on a mini vacation. The property is well kept, modern, and has all necessary amenities. We were able to get an early check in, and spent the day swimming in the pool. We revisisted the pool that evening, and while it was much busier, it was by no means chaotic. The pool is attached to the fitness center, which we didn't use, but it looked great.

We enjoyed the Happy Hour food and drink specials at the sports bar, and although we were a bit irritated that we couldn't take the food specials to go back to our room (our son was napping at the time), it worked out okay in the end.

We did not stay for breakfast, because it was overpriced in our opinion, and we did not eat in the restaurant - only the bar. The food was good, margaritas were good, and our 3 year old liked the popcorn.

Overall, I would say this is a great property. Although the location in the Tech Center isn't great for accessing downtown, it was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

I booked a room a week in advance and was everything and more than expected. We took the trip to Denver for my wife's birthday and we just wanted to relax. The Hyatt DTC is quiet and clean. My wife and me actually spent more time at the hotel than we did out. The restaurant quality was good and Garritys bar inside the hotel was polite and fun. The staff is always amazing. This is classic Hyatt though. Don't cheat yourself stay at the Hyatt. I did not take pictures though. View was great so I took video.

We had two rooms for one Wednesday night. The rooms were large, clean, and stylish. The room was in earth tones--very calming feel. The beds were comfy, with a ton of pillows.

We had the buffet breakfast downstairs--a nice spread, though a bit pricey.

The only major knock is the $12.95 charge for using the in-room Internet. If we had wanted to go someplace for dinner, the hotel was a ways away from downtown--but we didn't need to eat, so no problem.

Got the hotel at a nice price (less than $50 per room) on Priceline. The going rate for the hotel on Expedia and Travelocity was $174 per room, which would've been an excessive price to pay.

I didn't bother taking pics, didn't need too, it was EXACTLY what you see online from their own website. Thats a plus.. Very nice, very modern. However, here's the downsides of this Hyatt,

They charge $10.00 a day for parking in the parking garage or you can do Valet parking, not sure on the cost of that. Nooo, there is no where with in walking distance to park for free.

Internet is NOT FREE $13.00 for 24hours of wifi.

$5.00 for a bottle of aquafina water, luckily it had the price tag on the it. Its in the rooms

$50.00 is held on your card for incidentals

NO Free breakfast, $11.00 for a typical contl. breakfast and $16.00 for the breakfast buffet with bacon, eggs and sausage.. Still, not worth it.

Flat screen tv's yes, but don't expect to see cartoon network or Nickelodeon or tv land. There are a bunch of news and sports channels OH, and Disney channel is there.. but in MY opinion nothing really worth watching. Unless you do ppv's, plenty of those.

The Heater / AC I set it on 60 on Friday night and was still warm in the room on Sun.

There is a fridge, but no microwave.

The pool is cool, even for it being inside. The hot tub had a LOT of chlorine, burned my eyes.

The work out facility is VERY good though.

If you don't know your way around the area, or don't have a GPS, DON'T BOTHER.

I stayed here via priceline and it was fantastic. really top notch service. super helpful concierge. rooms were stylish, recently remodeled, and large. bathrooms spacious, clean, and new. far superior to the marriott denver tech center (which is within walking distance). no free internet anywhere in the building (you even have to pay to get it in the lobby) and of course they rip you for using the computers in the business center/printing, but i would definitely stay here again. on site parking is $10/day in their garage. short drive or 20 minute light rail ride to downtown. surrounding area is totally empty on the weekends and nearby restaurants not that exciting; go downtown for some fun.
