I recently stayed at this hotel since I had business appointments south of Denver.

The hotel is located about 25 minutes from downtown Denver, so if proximity to the city is important, skip this hotel. The hotel is in the middle of the tech center, a large office park. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the surrounding area was deserted.

The hotel is nice. The hotel has a nice exercise area with a decent selection of cardio equipment. There is a nice pool area connected to the workout room along with a hot tub. The water in the hot tub was the hottest I've experienced.

The hotel has a nice restaurant and a sports bar. I ate at the restaurant and the food was good. There was also a coffee bar in the lobby which served breakfast foods and snacks if you do not want to go to the restaurant. There is also a nicely stocked gift shop in the lobby.

The room was nice, if not a little dated. The bed was very comfortable. The only complaint that I have is that there does not seem to an adequate supply of hot water in the bathroom. The water from the sink only got lukewarm - makes shaving difficult. Also, the water in the shower never got hot - again, only luke warm - and started to get cold after a few minutes. The hotel was not very full, so there is no excuse for not having hot water.

All in all, the hotel was ok. Nothing really special. I might try the Marriott which is nearby if I have to stay in the area again. Can't deal with the lack of hot water.

  • Liked — Pleasant and accomodating staff.
  • Disliked — Insufficient hot water.

Great Hotel. Perfect location, in DTC area..
Rooms are nicely decorated, with modern furniture.
The restaurant has good service and good food..we tried dinner and the breakfast buffet...both well above average. They have a sports bar that's very popular ...stick with the drinks....
As a rule..services in DTC area are above average anywhere you go.
Everybody is very professional. You will not regret this one.

I was attending a conference, therefore, didn't have a vehicle for transportation. The concierge had a list they would put you on to take you to and from the hotel to a few different places including the mall. We used that service one night and then the train the rest of the time we were there. There were plenty of dining choices within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Safety was an issue for us when we would take the train. We made sure that we were back before dark. There was quite a walk from the hotel to the train. The hotel itself was mediocre. The service staff for dining was less than expected, we waited for more than 30 minutes to get two desserts, mind you we had no water either.

  • Liked — My room, it had the best view. It was huge!
  • Disliked — The location.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Tech center in order to attend a Christmas party nearby.(The hotel offers a low cost town car transport to guests). I was a little reluctant having stayed here a number of years previous and being underwhelmed at that time but things have changed since then! The hotel has clearly updated their rooms which are now extremely clean and comfortable with down comforters, high thread count sheets, flat screen TV and upscale bathroom amenities. While we technically stayed for pleasure I think this hotel would be ideal for the business traveler. The work area was well designed and the desk chair was great! The halls are a bit dark and worn but that aside the hotel gets high marks from me!

  • Liked — Location and comfort is above average for this business style hotel
  • Disliked — Worn hallways

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Tech Center for two nights on business.

The hotel is very nice, the lobby and facilities at the hotel are first rate and modern. They have a very nice pool and fitness area. There is a cafe in the morning that has starbucks.

The rooms are very comfortable and modern with a new bed, plasma tv (although no hi-def channels) and they are well maintained and clean. The decor is very nice as well and the bathroom is functional. Overall the hotel looks and feels very nice and the renovations are great and must have been very current. The A/C works very well and will keep you cool at night.

Only 2 negatives, first they didnt have the room I reserved which we all find a little irritating. On top of that I wasnt told they didnt have the room I reserved I figured it out when I got to the room. When I called the front desk they said they would adjust my rate for the standard room I was in as opposed to the deluxe room I reserved. My concern is if I didnt notice this would they have charged me more without letting me know so if you stay here you might want to check your bill. Second, the internet is a little slow for wi-fi 11mpbs which is a little outdated.

  • Liked — Very modern and updated rooms
  • Disliked — services misses such as reservations and paper
