Nice hotel that is very convenient to 16th Street Mall shopping. I could walk two blocks and get on the free mall shuttle to travel up & down 16th street. I used room service twice and it was prompt and very good. There is a Starbucks just across from the lobby of the hotel and a Walgreens on 16th Street Mall that is a short walk away for grocery and pharmacy items. An Avis and Budget rental car location are close as well.

You have 2 internet choices. It is a T-Mobile hotspot or you can get wired internet for $9.99/day (they provide ethernet cable). I didn't try it but supposedly you can get free wireless internet on the 16th Street Mall road as well.

Good security measures including between 6PM & 6AM you had to use your key card in the elevator to access your floor and one time I returned to the room while the maid was cleaning and she made me verify my key worked in the door before I could enter the room.

The 37/38th floor of the conference center has a great view of the mountains. My only compliant is that some meetings were on the 2nd floor which was one set of elevators and the 37/38th floor was another set around the corner. It got old going back and forth between the two.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and was very impressed with the service, clean rooms and great gym.

And they have an amazing track for jogging. Plus an indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzy.

Location is fairly good, on a quiet street, and close to the 16th street mall.

I highly recommend it

We stayed one night on the Sunday of the beginning of the Dem Convention. We were flying out of Denver for an early flight and got a great rate via priceline. Checkin was very late, but went great. We were upgraded upon request to a larger, king bed room on a high floor with an excellent view of the city. A special thanks to Tommy our check in reception guy, who went above and beyond to take great care of us. Excellent service, friendly staff! I would give more of a review, but didn't stay longer than 6 hours.

it's not as fancy as it's newer sister hyatt a few blocks away.... but the location is just as nice and it is a bit cheaper to stay here (i've stayed at both). if you are a smoker they do have a smoking floor which is getting more and more unusual in hotels these days... the staff is rather stiff but very polite and helped with lots of room service requests! the lobby bar is pretty minimal. most of the guests seemed to be business travelers. the front desk did manage to lose my room requests and therefore were not able to accommodate these for me which was annoying. the pool/hottub area was run down looking and unattended.... room service food was decent though...i come to denver often and prefer to stay at the other hyatt but can always get a better deal here...

We booked this room on Priceline through "name your own price", so we had no clue what hotel we would end up at. Overall we were very pleased with the Grand Hyatt. It is a very snazzy hotel, VERY clean, comfy beds, great bathroom, and awesome views. Although we didn't use them, we checked out the fitness room and pool area. They seemed really nice-although the outdoor hottub was out of order. I find it amusing and irritating that at plush hotels you have to pay for so many extras. They do not have free wi-fi, you have to purchase it for $9.99 a day. Valet parking is $26 a day, otherwise you can use the parking garage that is attached to the building, but be prepared to pay at least $7 every time you come and go. We are from a smaller city so we are not used to haivng to pay to park. The location is perfect for wandering around downtown. It's within walking distance of the 16th Street Mall, many restaurants and bars, and several other attractions.
Overall this hotel gets a thumbs up, I'm just glad I booked through priceline and only paid about $70 a night (plus parking and internet)!
