We had a great time @ The Magnolia hotel! We arrived early by about two hours and they let us check in to our suite. The pictures on the site are true to the suite we stayed in. The tub was wonderful to soak in after walking everywere and the whole place was spotless! The lobby and lounge were great! They even had a Happy HourBar set up downstairs which I think was free at certain times(don't forget to tip the bartender). The staff was very helpful in finding places to eat and enjoy the evening. The Magnolia was central to all the touristy stuff but also close to out of the ordinary shops and galleries. The Airport tram is within walking distance(about 8-10 blocks ot take the trolley/bus) but we got a private ride to the airport from the hotel door to the airport for about $50 and it took only 15-20 minutes w/no traffic.
The price for the suite is worth it for more than one night and we definately plan on staying there again!

We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel on December 22nd. It met our every expectation. The room (a suite) was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best! The cocktail hour was very relaxing and the hot cookies and milk at the end of the evening were great. If you are looking for a great restaurant in Denver try Rioja. It is great! This is the 3rd hotel that we have booked on a recommendation from Trip Advisor and we have been pleased each time. Enjoy!

The suite I got was HUGE - even had a conference table in it! Location is excellent, staff is nice, and the cookie service at night is lovely. Very quiet hotel, good room service. Careful if you have kids staying there, free porn appeared on my TV every night.

We stayed at the Hotel for the first time in December 2005 for three days. When booking by telephone I booked a 1 BR deluxe King suite. I was assured that the bed would be King and that the suite size was 660 square feet with kitchen. When we arrived however, the suite was as described but with only a Queen bed. Rather than accepting this room we contacted the front desk who had the belhop tour us to the standard room that had a King bed. This was not a very large room however. The manager then came and took us to the next size larger suite (about 850 sq feet) but this also had only a Queen bed. There actually existed NO King (bedded) suites in the hotel that were true suites. These were apparently being renovated for use in a few months. We thus settled for the use of this "upgraded" suite which had a larger living room and kitchen.
The remainder of our stay was pleasant. The maid service, bellhops and parking attendants were all excellent. We only went once to the 1 hour wine reception but the host behind the bar was wonderful!
The breakfast was quite adequate each morning.
Despite our problems with reservations our stay was very pleasant and I would not hesitate to book there again.

The room and general ambiance at the Magnolia were lovely, but the [very young] staff needs more training. Their was a general lack of concern and courtesy, with a few specific examples: (1) When I arrived, my Hotels.com reservation hadn’t yet made it into their system, and the desk clerk didn’t seem very concerned about leaving me standing rather a long time while he disappeared into the back; (2) The bill slipped under my door during the night had duplicate entries for the same room-service charge, didn’t include the parking charge, and included a room charge—even though I had booked through Hotels.com; (3) When I called housekeeping to request a bathrobe, I found that they only SELL them for $60; (4) I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my car to be brought ‘round in the morning.

This being said, the room was nicely furnished, comfortable and quiet.
