I stayed for 3 nights and my only complaint would be the room was too big (yes, too big). I was put in a suite (out of the regular room I'd requested) and it had a huge walk-in closet, full kitchen (full-sized fridge, dishwasher, oven, etc.) and the living and dining areas were nicely furnished. Like a small one-bedroom apartment. In the evening the hotel serves complementary cocktails (5-7-ish) and from 8-10p they service cookies and milk (when you walk into the lobby in the evenings you can smell the freshly baked cookies). All in all a great hotel and nice bar. Everyone was very accomodating.

I stayed at the Magnolia over the Fourth of July weekend and was very pleased the entire time. The rooms were clean and the one room that I was in (on the 12th floor) had a gorgeous mountain view. Since it was my first time in the Denver area, I asked quite a bit of questions re: dinner recommendations, nightlife, etc. and never came away disappointed with the suggestions the staff made. One night, the concierge (Brian) went out of his way to make sure I was given first-class treatment at a restaurant he recommended (Chef's table, free appetizer, dessert). On the Fourth, I decided to take a taxi to check out the fireworks outside of Denver and the valet went out of his way to make sure I had a driver who knew the area. The free continental breakfast, happy hour (OPEN bar 5-6) and cookies at night just made my stay that much more enjoyable. The hotel is ideally located in the downtown area and is in walking distance to many sites and the buses are not hard to navigate. I will most definitely stay at the Magnolia, should I find myself in Denver again.

Good location one block off Mall. Complementary Happy Hour and evening cookies and milk are great touches. Will stay here again next visit
