Stayed one night during layover. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. More accurately described as "Closest" Holiday Inn to Denver airport. Located in Commerce City a respectable 12 miles from the airport doors. If you don't mind the commute - an acceptable overnighter.

Very nice hotel, they are currently updating to Crown Plaza and the lobby is a bit messy and dusty during the day. The rooms are great, bed comfy. The bathroom is good but the bath side would need some attention. Overall I'm very happy about this stay

I booked through Hotwire and then read the reviews for this hotel. Based on a relatively poor score, I checked-in with somewhat low expectations. I was then pleasantly surprised. The hotel is conveniently located. There are fast food restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The room was clean and in good condition. The bathroom counter top was marble or a very good imitation. I didn’t bring my laptop, but was able to use the computer and printer in the lobby to print out my boarding pass. The staff was helpful.

Was concerned about this hotel because of previous bad HI experiences as well as some of the reviews.

However, I had a nice stay. The great man behind the desk let me check in at 10 am and gave me an interior (quiet) room which was different from the lower exterior room that I was originally given. He was great!

The room was nice with a King bed, couch and desk. Linens were clean and white, bed was comfortable. The counter in the bathroom was granite and the toilet and shower were new.

The a/c worked great and was quiet.

What more can you ask for?

I would gladly stay here again.

As for some of the common areas being a little dated, It didn't bother me at all. The room is what I used and it was nice and clean.
