I stayed at The Curtis for three night in August and found the hotel to be very unique and chic while not being pretentious. The lobby area has some very interesting decor, from classic board games to video screens. Every floor has a theme associated with pop culture and my floor happened to be a "Hot Rod" theme on the top floor (a woman I shared the elevator with was embarrassed when she got off on the "One Hit Wonder" floor). I found the front desk staff to be very freindly, helpful, and courteous. The location was great being near the 16th Street Mall which has free trolleys to other areas of Downtown. The only reason I don't give The Curtis a five star is that housekeeping didn't get to my room until after 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I had been exploring the city all day in the hot sun and wanted to take a rest and clean up before going to a Rockies game that evening. I had to wait a half hour in the lobby. This may have been a fluke thing but it was annoying.
