From the moment we entered the hotel, we could tell that we'd arrived at a fantastic hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and efficient. More importantly for me, every aspect of the hotel was well thought out, well built, and well maintained. The lobby had a fun library and vintage game room - i was actually looking forward to waiting in the lobby for my friends.

Then in the room, the intelligent design was obvious. Baskets of fresh, extra plush bath towels fit perfectly behind the all glass shower wall, modern wood and chrome looking bathroom vanity had seperate spaces for hand towels and wash cloths, flush cieling mount mr-16 high moisture fixture in the shower (i do residential remodels), in-cieling shower curtain bearings, and so on.

The beds were absolutely comfortable, feather pillows, flat screen tv, decent desk with immediately accessible high speed wireless. I must say, i was amazed at the value of this hotel - this was by far the best $109 room i've ever stayed in. I cant wait for them to expand the line across the country - hope they do!

The Curtis was a great place for our trip to Downtown Denver because of their ideal location and awesome service. The entire process was a breeze and the staff was great. They helped us with anything we needed and there was no stress upon checking in or checking out! The Curtis provides a fun, funky atmosphere and they bring a personality to your normal hotel stay. You can start by choosing your floor among the various themes including "pedal to the medal", "big hair" and more. The rooms were clean and the beds were amazing! We will definitely stay at the Curtis again for a great hotel at an amazing location!

  • Liked — The beds! They were amazingly comfortable!
  • Disliked — The rooms were a little noisy

Just as pictured on the website: modern yet cozy, uncluttered and clean, with a great view. The girl at check-in was energetic and excited while warm and welcoming. I was given my floor preference and extended my check-out without any problems. The staff was helpful in finding a local restaurant and provided an easy to read map of the area. My car was ready to go exactly when I needed it. The continental breakfast was much better than expected. Fun wake up calls. Great showers but not sure if any of the rooms have tubs. Well worth even the full rate.

Stayed at The Curtis 3/12-13.
Checked in, went to room, open 12 pack of beer sitting in bath room, half eaten food on desk, old news paper laying on bed next to empty champane bottle. Back down to lobby for another room. Furishings in room seemed new, mattress old, worn out. Floor so unlevel it felt like you were walking down/up hill. The "fun, whimisical style "consisted of a few cheesey posters in the hall, other than that just your everyday hotel room. Fire alarm at 9pm told to evacuate the building. Asked for 7am wakeup call, never got it.
No parking except $18 a day valet. because the parking garage was under construction which is where they park your car.
