Reviews were true to form. I wanted a short shopping getaway and this was really the spot to stay. It was fun being on the "hair" floor and with the slightly larger corner room, I watched a fabulous Fourth of July fireworks show right outside my window. So much to do that I didn't have time to enjoy the Bar or try room service, but would completely return. Only bads are high expense for parking (but makes sense if you are downtown) and on my holiday weekend there were a few loud guests for a couple of minutes one night but that was it, and the corner rooms keep you pretty insulated from that if it happens at all. Highly recommend this hotel, what a bargain and what fun.

From check in to check out we were treated to great service from the Curtis hotel's friendly staff.

The rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and filled with modern comforts (flat panel TVs, clock radios that you can plug any MP3 player into, free wi-fi). The ensuite bathroom feature deep sinks with plenty of counter room for two people to share and large shower stalls (no bathtub). Housekeeping refreshed the towels daily and clean sheets upon request. The lobby is filled with inviting couches and chairs. There are board games and books available as well as a HUGE flat panel television showing cartoons in the lobby. Each floor of the hotel features a different Pop Culture theme including; One Hit Wonder, LOL, Speed Racer, Horror, and Famous Couples to name just a few.

The hotel has a restaurant and bar attached called "The Corner Office" happy hours are genrous and the staff attentive. We'd suggest skipping diner in the corner office as the food was bland and not worth the price paid. The hotel offers valet and self parking ($24 a day for valet, $18 for self park). They also have a courtesy shuttle that's available to take guests on short trips around the city, it's a complimentary service (tips are encouraged). The hotel is located across the street from the performing arts center, 3-4 blocks from the 16th Street Mall, and 2 blocks from the convention center. We also found the hotel to be within easy walking distance of the LODO neighborhood (lots of restuarants and shops in LODO).

2 nights downtown at The Curtis on a Fri-Sun. This is a great hotel. Each floor is themed and adds a unique twist.

The good:

Room is moderate size, bathroom is moderate size
Flat screen TV, comfortable bed
PERFECT location to walk ANYWHERE.
Easy access to all of downtown Denver
Neighborhood was safe

The bad:
Parking is $18/day
No fridge for drinks in room
no in-room safe
Sometimes hear your neighbors
No pool or work-out room available
Restaurant was quite pricey but plenty of other options downtown

I would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning. We parked the car on check in and never had to use it until we left. Downtown is right there, there is a free shuttle on 16th St, and could walk to Coors Field. Absolutely loved it

This place is just great! What a way to put a spin on a hotel. The place works very hard to keep that hollywood/pop-culture feel rolling throughout and still feels like a 5-star property! The beds are comfortable, the service is commendable, and I really have no complaints! Especially not after finding such a deal on Quikbook.com - I reccomend the site to everyone! It's lesser-known than other sites so their rates are AWESOME.

Definitely stay at The Curtis - I'd recommend it to any kind of traveler!
