This place is just great! What a way to put a spin on a hotel. The place works very hard to keep that hollywood/pop-culture feel rolling throughout and still feels like a 5-star property! The beds are comfortable, the service is commendable, and I really have no complaints! Especially not after finding such a deal on Quikbook.com - I reccomend the site to everyone! It's lesser-known than other sites so their rates are AWESOME.

Definitely stay at The Curtis - I'd recommend it to any kind of traveler!

We stayed in this hotel one night because we had Theatre tickets and decided to make it a Denver City weekend. The thing I liked best about this hotel is the location. This hotel is in an ideal location for the Theatre and 16th Street Mall. We also took our bikes with us and was able to pick up the bike path just a few blocks away at Confluence Park. This hotel is really the perfect location to experience the best the city has to offer.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. I did read some reviews on some sites about thin walls, and I agree the tv sounds do go through the wall, which could be a problem, depending on timing. It was not a problem for us on this particular night. Overall, an excellent place to stay for folks that have Theatre tickets and want to enjoy the city of Denver.

A funky little hotel well located in downtown Denver. Stayed here for a weekend of baseball at Coor's Field. Not a bad walk at all to the stadium. Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Quick stroll to 16th Mall. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference, which was being held in the same hotel. Thought I would be smart by staying here...

...wireless is awful. Had to call tech support to told me to do something completely opposite of the instructions received at the front desk. The wireless connection drops frequently. Then you can't get back onto the connection you were just connected to. I moved a nightstand to find and outlet and found a DSL wireless router bolted to the back of the nightstand. So, it's just DSL, but worse than DSL. While all this may not be important to the vacationer, for the busiess traveler it's is pretty much unacceptable.

Room was clean. Furniture, while basic, is new. Bed is very comfortable. Pillows are abundant and comfortable. Towels are thick and abundant. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The conference rooms were comfortable with thickly padded chairs (a plus to those who attend a lot of conferences). The breakfast and lunch provided (paid for by the conference sponsor) was fresh and tasty, which you can't always say about hotel-catered food.

The bathroom only has two hooks on the back of the door to hang your towels on. The sink is one of those "sink on a table" setups, so there's no counterspace to put anything. Even being a simple guy with some bathroom basics, it was difficult getting ready in the morning.

The room service and restaurant are outrageous prices. e.g., $14 + 20% gratuity for a plain caesar salad. $10.38 for a smoothie. OUCH! Jamba Juice is just a few blaocks away - go there!

So, the wireless is my complaint. Got to have a connection!!!

I stayed at The Curtis Hotel for a total of 2 Weeks for Business. Let me quickly tell you how great this hotel is. Each floor has its own theme. The 9th floor is dedicated to big hair. There are pictures of hair related things. Such as Marge Simpson, Hairspray the Musical, even the iconic 80's band Poison. The 8th floor is the SciFi floor and the 13th Floor is the horror movie floor. The staff is so friendly and the hotel restaurant called the Corner Office is top notch. Any one staying in downtown Denver needs to check out this fantastic Hotel.
