This is not a "luxury" hotel (Peninsula, Four Seasons), but it is a right fine place to stay for vacation, a meeting, a visit, etc. I came here for a 2.5 day meeting 10 blocks away. This was a great location! I read reviews that complained about noise and wireless connectivity issues and was a little wary to stay here. No problem! Initial connectivity was no good, but the 800 number fixed me up in no time--and the wireless in my room was free free free!

My room was literally 2 steps away from elevator (walk out, room was straight ahead); at first I thought "OH NO!!!" but it turned out to be great. Yes, I heard people talk as they came out of the elevator, but that stopped at around 11PM and I slept like a baby the entire night because there were no rooms on either side of me! (Hint: my room was "01" on the floor.)

Room = good size, bath = large, toiletries = top-notch, turn-down service = lovely, wake-up call = FUN (Austin Powers one morning, Mr T the next).

The location can't be beat. It's safe, it's cool, it's close to all kinds of very wonderful things.

Staff are excited to work here, and it shows. LOVE IT!!

We had a 4 day conference at this hotel. The banquet staff, av staff, and hotel staff was wonderful! They were always available when we needed something and had a quick turnaround. The banquet staff even tied our evening event theme into their serving setup. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. We had a couple people complain about loud neighbors, but nothing that ruined the stay. I would recommend this hotel.

For young couples and romantic adventures in Denver, it's hard to imagine a better place to stay. Right off the 16th street mall and amazing food and drinks...wonderful for any couple.

A tip - book the bigger, better deal room. In the corner with enough space to stretch out, and it was great. No, there are no bathtubs! but the shower is large and the bathrooms are nice and big.

Do order breakfast up...didn't have the nicest staff person to deliver, but whatever! Food here was outstanding! who cares who brings is up as long as I'm not cooking and it's good!

  • Liked — Food here was terrific!
  • Disliked — Nothing bad to say. Worst was a little room service delivery attitude, but the food made up for it!

The Ghost of Executive Tower Hotel Haunts the Curtis

A redesign from the Executive Tower Hotel, no doubt the management tore out everything to the concrete and refurbished the place. Here's the rub - it's still the same building - first room had no bath tub - asked to be moved, and the next room we were in, no joke, we could hear the ice cubes going into our neighbor's drinks through the wall. The internet (wireless) is poorly done through a contractor, and no one at the hotel knows anything about it, nor can take any ownership of it., In checking out early, our keys didn't work after the first day, to the point that engineering had to come up and open our door for us. Nice try on the remodel, but it the ghost of the Executive Tower still haunts the Curtis.

Our room had a great view of the Rockies, and was very clean, with a nice bathroom. The room was a little small, but not bad. The location is right in the heart of the city, and perfect is you are going to see a show at the performing arts center, because it's practically across the street. It's a pretty neat hotel, with all the different themes on each floor. I would stay here again.
