I was attending a long conference at the Convention Center and stayed six nights at the Curtis. Architecturally boring building sauced up by some whimsical touches inside and a front desk and bell staff that bends over backward for guests. Whimsy continues onto guest floors and luckily stays in the halls. The king corner room I had on the dancing floor (each floor themed) was large and light, good bed, bath on the small side, no closet - just a small armoire. Three star view. The housekeeper could have used a swifter - I ended up dusting on day three. HVAC was great. Water was perfect temps always. Amazing location for visitors to downtown Denver. Honestly, I was excited to stay at a Hipster hotel and was a tad disappointed by the hype vs. reality. Not at all the higher end feel of other Doubletree boutiques, like in Chicago. Restaurant was great and room service prompt, friendly, and yummy. Pass on the crab cake Benedict. Not good.
